“The only two downsides were a lack of WiFi and cell service (only available in the main house) and no GPS. They do send you very detailed directions, but if you are wholly unfamiliar with the area, it can be a little unsettling to be on winding roads outside of civilization with no cell service. I admittedly panicked (we drove for 12 straight hours overnight), and our friend was on the verge of declaring us missing because he couldn't get in touch with us. “We greatly enjoyed the cabin and the area. It was perfect to disconnect. The pictures don’t do justice of the cabin and the area. We enjoyed star gazing, walking on the property mowed path, lunch at the Amish store and just enjoying the birds and wildlife. ”

“Such a cute cabin, close to the road but feels like it's secluded in the woods. Went for a little Dad and daughters trip with my little dog and it was perfect for us. Cabin was very comfortable - had plenty of dishes to cook, beds were super comfortable, shower was nice and hot. The property is big and we were able to explore around the yard, have bonfires, and cook on the grill. Will definitely be coming back to stay next time I need a little getaway.”

“We enjoyed our time at the Bears Den. We were looking to escape and relax and that was easily done here. A few notes: we were short on the number of bath towels initially but found the extra bath towels in the dryer. Unfortunately they had sat wet in the dryer and were musty-requiring washing before being used.The kitchen was well stocked with cooking items for the most part but there were no pot holders which would have come in handy with the countertop oven—there was only one dish towel.
