Mandowa Beach Forest & Cottages - A

A beautiful beach house in Macaneta, just 30 km north of Maputo. With high-class and luxurious design, with all the necessary amenities to provide your family and friends with a perfect vacation. A 'self-catering' house that is a short walk from the beach.

The House is called "Alamanda" and is part of the Mandowa Beach Forest and Cottages.

The perfect place to relax! Comfortably accommodates 6 Guests, with 2 bedrooms and 2 mattresses in the common area. Wifi is available but is prepaid. The House has a fully equipped kitchen, including an electric stove/oven, full-size refrigerator, dining counter and all necessary utensils – in addition, it has a comfortable deck, private parking and a garden.

There is also a swimming pool, a dining area with a small barbecue near the pool, and a tennis court - these spaces are accessible and in common use for Guests of Mandowa Beach Forest & Cottages.

Guests have access to all areas within the House - and of course the beautiful beach, which is just a six-minute walk away. However, outdoor spaces within the Premises are shared by all Mandowa Beach Forest & Cottages Guests.

Our team will be available to help you during your stay at our facilities. If you have any communication difficulties, please do not hesitate to ask them to contact us.

4x4 is not necessary to reach our Facilities. However, it is recommended, as this way you will be able to explore Macaneta better. After reaching the Macaneta roundabout and turning towards Mandowa Beach Forest & Cottages, the paved road ends and you will drive for 10 to 15 minutes on a sandy road. We've had several customers with small cars who have also gotten there.

If you book our Facilities we will send you an interactive map and instructions for the easiest route with the least deep trails.

There are markets on the way to Macaneta and some restaurants near the House. However, please bring supplies - the best option is to shop in Maputo or Matola before arriving in Macaneta. The House has tap water, hot water and a generator to keep the electricity running, but we recommend that you bring bottled drinking water for consumption.
