El patio del riad bonito y relajante. Los camareros atentos y ambles. La habitación normal sin nada que destacar. El desayuno normal,tipo europeo al que han añadido rghaif. Cena regular. El hammam demasiado viejo, necesitaria un poco de reforma hacia frío cuando entre y también en la sala de masaje hacia frío. La masajista amable. Salí temprano antes del desayuno a las 7:00h por lo que había pedido el día anterior que me prepararán el desayuno para llevar pero se olvidaron. Tu ve que esperar a que el señor que nos llevo al taxi nos pusiera en una bolsa de plástico 2panecillos con mermelada y queso ,2crepes y dos yogures, eso con prisa. Tuve la sensación que una vez cobrado el dinero en la noche anterior ya dejaron de ser atentos y dejáramos de existir, cosa que todavía no me ha pasado en ningún hotel. El translado deficiente, estuvimos esperando aproximadamente 20min en el aeropuerto porque no nos esperaba nadie,tuve que llamar al hotel y preguntar por el translado. Puntos a favor,:el patio muy bonito y relajante, olía a flor de azahar y había pajaritos cantando. La cama cómoda , los camareros serviciales y atentos, la limpieza buena. El ambiente relajante.

I had an absolute amazing stay at this hotel. The staff are all unbelievably kind, friendly and helpful. They go out of their way to take care of you and make sure you feel comfortable. It’s easy walking distance to all the major markets, and I felt totally safe here.

Charming, friendly riad in a zero-hassle area

We stayed in a standard room at Riad Amina for five nights. Clearly, the standard room option is not going to offer the height of luxury, but it was adequate for our needs and our budget, with a high ceiling that helped the (air-conditioned) air circulate. Although our standard room was rather small and rather dark, it didn’t bother us as we could sit in the beautiful, shady riad courtyard at any time. The staff were superb throughout our stay. A special heads up to front desk manager Keltoum, who was endlessly charming and helpful. Although Riad Amina is some distance from the centre of the Medina at Jemaa el-Fna, this suited us fine. We mostly ate our evening meals at small restaurants within a 5-10 minute walk of the riad. Before we arrived, we were a little apprehensive that the Medina would be a lot of hassle and we’d constantly be dodging aggressive hawkers and scammers. I can’t speak for the whole Medina, but we never encountered anyone unsavory anywhere in the neighborhood of Riad Amina.
