“At a superficial level, this hotel is stunningly opulent with regular use of water features. I walk with the aid of a cane because of balance issues and the hotel offered too many risks of falling. As a result I didn't use the spa or plunge pool in my room. Staff were consistently brilliant. My room had 6 component and was spotless.”

What truly made the experience stand out was the hotel team — every department was warm, welcoming, attentive and genuinely helpful throughout the stay. “The property was delightful- so esthetically done up and with such thoughtful details. The staff was very courteous and helpful and always so good with any requests we made. The hospitality was so heartwarming- we were served hot tea and cookies when we arrived and were served lunch as soon as we were ready for it. The swimming pool was perfect for our 5-year old and he loved being in there. The breakfast was all home made and fresh with different items served each time- the yogurt, amlou, honey……

Situated close to the city walls, taxis and transport can drop you right at the door — a real advantage when you see so many tourists dragging their suitcases through the Medina. Being on the edge means zero hassle, yet it’s still only a 15‑minute walk to the main square. Hamid and the team are exceptional. The setting is beautiful, the location is ideal, and the breakfast is excellent. The team looked after our family with genuine care — nothing was ever too……

“If you drive, do NOT stay this. No car park there although it said they have. Only a public car park on the street and I need to wait for halt hour for the parking as the public car park is very busy and lots of local people will lock your car and asked for money.”
