Corinthia St George's Bay

"The hotel is spotless, yes it’s dated but the staff are all amazing and keep everything pristine. Nothing is too much trouble and they always offer to take your bags or help get a taxi. We were upgraded from a junior to a queen suite which was amazing. The executive lounge access was a real bonus and all the staff work exceptionally hard to keep it clean and fully stocked. The choice of pools was amazing as you can use any from the hotel group on the corner and also has sea access too. I’d come back in a heart beat as whilst the location near st Julian and isn’t quite for us the hotel is quiet and Bolt taxis are all reasonable and can take you to where ever you want to go. Breakfast was plentiful of all your regulars plus the bacon and sausage were like the UK’s. Didn’t use the spa but it looked exceptionally well maintained and it was good to see you didn’t have to be having a treatment to use the hot tub, pool and sauna. Portion sizes in restaurants are huge so bear in mind if you don’t eat big portions."

"The hotel is located right on the water with fantastic views in all directions. While the decor is dated, it’s well maintained and the various sculptures and vases add to the sumptuous atmosphere. The staff were always happy to help. We would highly recommend a stay here."

"Fabulous hotel we had a wonderful 5 night stay. Room was spacious & very clean & well equipped, lovely big comfy bed, nice bathroom, kitchen & sitting area. The roof top pool & sun bathing area is great too, with pool bar. Breakfast was very plentiful lots of choice & constantly being refilled. Located a few minutes walk from the harbour front lots of bars & restaurants & lovely views. Very highly recommend this hotel, absolutely no negatives at all."

"Overall my partner and I enjoyed our stay, but the first room we stayed had a putrid odor, like sewage. When we notified reception they first sent house keeping to just spray the room, which did not solve the issue, but eventually they changed our rooms. Aside from the smell of our first room, the amenities the hotel provided were top notch, loved the pool, and the location was great, walking distance to the ferry and plenty of restaurants around the hotel."

"We had a wonderful stay at the Central Town house, the staff were very friendly and the location was very useful for catching buses to all the places we wanted to go. The room we had contained a washing machine and dishwasher and as we were there for two weeks and a Lidl supermarket was a short ride away from the San Luca bus stop, we decided to cook our own food, including a roast dinner in the spanking new oven. Having said that nathan’s cooked breakfasts which were included in the room price and served until 11am, kept us full all day. We also had a nice balcony that overlooked some gardens and we could see birds and some pipestrelle bats at dusk whilst having our gin and tonics. The owner and his wife were extremely helpful and friendly advising us where to go and how to get there, particularly as it was Victory Day 8 th September and Fort Angelo was the best location to see the celebrations and Regatta. In addition, the owner was very helpful by telling us about the Tallinnj travel cards that gave you unlimited travel on the buses and you could top them up to use them for a Harbour cruise from Sliema around the creeks. The room we stayed in also had a big TV which was good for when the weather was not too good ( one to two days) and reception assistant and waitress called Rupi also gave us good advice about where to get the buses to Mdina, Rabat and the megalithic temples on the island. The security was very high with a code needed to get through the front door."

"Breakfast was very poor, and I could not access the rooftop pool as there was no bar to hold on to and I have a knee issue. With that being said I could not fault the rest of the hotel and our room hit a hit tub on the balcony which was amazing."
