Good location
Bathroom sink doesn't drain too well. Overall experience other than this is excellent.

An excellent hotel with great view
I just love the hotel, we booked the junior suite with sea view. We got a true balcony, with great view of the old port, and we could sit there for relaxing and some beer in the night. Staff are very helpful and the room is very large and super clean. Will stay here again if visiting marseille in the future.

Wunderschöne Unterkunft in toller Lage direkt am alten Hafen von Marseille, Blick auf Notre Dame de la Garde vom Fenster aus. Kaffee auf dem Zimmer (Kapseln oder Kocher für mitgebrachten Instand Kaffee), Minibar. Sehr hübsche Zimmer und toller Loungebereich, alles fußläufig zu erreichen und nettes Personal an der Rezeption. Gut und professionell organisiert, alles super. Gute Betten, tolles Bad mit sehr wohlriechender Seife, Bademäntel aus dickem Frottee. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt.

This hotel was perfect for our stay in Marseille. You cannot beat the views or the location. Wonderful restaurants and shops surround the area. I especially enjoyed the large soaking tub in our room and the balcony!

The view is incredible! The room was a great size for two people. The staff was very responsive and nice. When we first arrived we had an issue with our shower not draining. When we told them about it, they immediately fixed the issue and we didn't have any other problems.

Our second stay at La Residence and we love the place. The views from the rooms across the Old Port are just stunning - we slept with the curtains open so we could take in the view from bed! The rooms are large and comfortable, likewise the bathrooms. Not luxurious exactly but all one needs is there, and the decor is fun and idiosyncratic.

My wife broke her wrist on the first day in Marseille. Silvi at the hotel was superb. Nothing was a bother to her. She made numerous phone calls for us to facilitate matters and without her superb assistance we would have been in strife. All staff were so friendly and the hotel is the perfect location in Marseille for sight seeing.

Great hotel, interestingly decorated, great view of the harbor, centrally located, friendly and helpful staff, many shops and restaurants nearby along with the major tourist attractions. The decor is particularly interesting and the rooms were large, with a nice sitting area, window overlooking the harbor, and comfortable bed.

We had a junior suite which is a very large room - almost like a flat. But what makes it stand out is the balcony with an amazing view across Vieux Port towards the Basilica Notre Dame de la Garde. It is in the best area in Marseille and is convenient for everything. Friendly staff, large comfortable beds. Junior suites have both a bath and a separate shower and the toilet is in a separate room. Overall I highly recommend this hotel

This is a great place to see the activities of the old port. The activities are fun to watch go by as you sit enjoying dining restaurants that serve very good food. Getting transportation was great and seeing activities that occurred such as parades and soccer and Rugby celebrations particularly awesome. We love this place.

It is a great location. We were promised free breakfast each morning at check in - only to be told it was €15/person per day. The breakfast was average - all the "hot food options" were lukewarm to cold every morning and the bacon drastically undercooked . The TV - half the channels didn't work. And the half that did, half of them were unwatchable due to a glitch. We reported to front desk - to no avail. It is not a quiet hotel though as buskers are outside every day with drums, singers, accordions, guitars, etc
