“My wife, and I took a weekend to get away from our phones, grab the dog, and spend some time together in nature with our phones turned off. This was the perfect place for it. Secluded spot with helpful, friendly hosts; Kitchen had everything you needed to prepare meals; fishing was great; paddleboat was awesome; homemade apple pecan bread was fantastic (as advertised in other reviews); pup had plenty of area to run. A much need weekend away! We will be back!”

“So lucky to have found this hidden gem near Mountain View. We booked over a year in advance to see and experience the total solar eclipse on April 8, 2024. My husband brought two telescopes for the solar eclipse and the weather cooperated nicely. The photos are accurate and the house was even better than expected, very clean and had everything we needed for our 4-night stay with friends. Easy check-in process and great hospitality from the host, Billy, who checked in a couple of times to make……

“This tiny house was immaculately clean and exactly as described by the owner. It was just a few minutes from downtown and from Blanchard caverns. It was so peaceful that you could really hear the birds singing quite loudly early in the morning. I was able to feel quite safe walking my dog in the neighborhood.”

“My family stayed at this rental to view the total solar eclipse. The cottage was perfect for our needs! We appreciated how clean it was, including fresh white fluffy towels. Great WiFi and a comfortable reclining couch in the living area. We were able to walk down to the park for the eclipse viewing, and we couldn’t have asked for a more picturesque spot. “Very clean, quite, fully stocked kitchen, tons of towels, there is a creek to drive thru but there is a walk bridge to go over if youre not comfortable driving thru it. Loved getting coffee and sitting outside listening to the animals early morning.”

“We were in town for the Folk Festival and had a great weekend. The owners are next door and were quick to answer any questions we had. The bath is very tiny, which wasnt a problem, but be aware that the only sink & mirror is in the kitchenette. The map indicates the cabin is right behind the courthouse and thats the main reason we chose it because we could walk around the main part of town and not worry about parking. But the location is actually several blocks away. It is a walkable distance……

“This cabin is wonderfully appointed. We had everything we needed to cook two dinners, except the food of course! Beds were comfortable. We were able to figure out all the remotes, except for the mini-splits. We didn't need any extra heat...just turned on the fireplace a couple times. We were a bit surprised at the ruggedness of the road in...we were in a Honda Civic and had to be careful. Be sure to check the door code before you drive in because we had no phone service once we got to the……
