Its not two separate bedrooms, just 1 bedroom with another bed in the living room area but still provided exactly what we needed to be comfortable for out stay and have our privacy. Didn't really utilize the kitchen area as our goal was to explore the city, but location was absolutely wonderful for that! House made old house noises as part of its charm 」

「Amazing location and amazing views! My kids loved the ‘secret garden’ and the cats. The flat was well located for all the things we wanted to do. The place has everything we needed to make our stay comfortable. Robert was a welcoming host and checked in to see if we needed anything. The decor is a little dated, but it doesn’t matter because you will be looking out the windows all the time. We would absolutely stay there again!」

「We had to book this location a day before we made it out there so I was nervous about what we were getting into but it was perfect! I must mention that we did not have AC in the unit we stayed in and coming from the south, that was very unusual. Little did we know, you didn’t even need AC! The ceiling fans were enough and kept us COLD as we slept! The host was responsive and very helpful! 」

「Sara was a great communicator and was a great host for 8 of us! The place is very clean and has great decorations that make it a great place to stay. 「We were very pleased with the place. It was as advertised, with an extremely comfortable main bed and extra spaces for kids. We found the bedding and towels to be excellent and ample for our family. The neighborhood is busy, but safe and quite interesting, with much to see and do even in walking distance. On street parking was no problem, even with our full size truck. Great communication and easy check in and out.」

「The kitchen was amazing. Literally everything you would need to cook a hearty breakfast or gourmet dinners. Stunning view. Peaceful location. A great place for a couple of two people. The fold out bed had a mattress topper which made it super comfortable. Impeccably clean with a very responsive host. Off-street parking worked great. I hope my daughter gets accepted to Berkeley so I can stay there again!」

As expected in any major city, there was some occasional street noise which would have been the case anywhere (even high rise hotels). The decor had an artistic, gallery-like atmosphere.
