"The construction of the thousand year old building was amazingly beautiful! The park like grounds are beautiful and peaceful. The staff was very kind and helpful. The bed was firm, like most beds in Italy. I have to say though the pillows were the worse pillows I’ve ever had to sleep on. They were fat hard rubber pillows. 😩 "

Within a reasonable walking distance to the town centre and the restaurants/bars/shopping/sights there. The whole hotel team went to great lengths to look after us and no ask was too much. "Wonderful. For us; perfect. Beautifully appointed in a minimalist style. All rooms open onto the pool but in such a way that there is complete privacy…rooms are set back underneath a gorgeous canopy of vines in an L shaped colonnade. There were never more than half a dozen people at the pool, which is enormous. The bedrooms have quiet air conditioning (only turned it on at night) and the beds are THE most comfortable with nice, firm mattresses. We ate dinner on one occasion and it was excellent. A lovely setting. We had lunch twice and again, it was just what we wanted. Because most people seem to dine elsewhere, the menus are naturally limited in scope but suited our needs completely. The staff, particularly Allesandro, could not have been nicer. They were always there to anticipate our needs. The location was also perfect…15 minutes to Mesagne, which is a lovely town. 25 minutes to Lecce and about the same to Brindisi. I could not recommend Masseria Malvindi highly enough. If you’re looking to unwind in a quiet and very pleasant environment; this certainly would be top of the list. "
