An evening plat du jour meal is available and is always excellent and the local wine is a must. "This was the 4th time we have stayed at Maison Candide and it was as beautiful as ever. Upon walking through the front door you are presented with a wonderful patio area and inviting pool, and everything is so beautifully maintained with wonderful flowers and grape vines.Inside has everything you could need with a well-equipped kitchen, two toilets and good wi-fi (essential with a 16 year old daughter!). We stayed during a heatwave with temperatures between 36 & 39 most days, so the air conditioning downstairs was very welcome. But otherwise we spent a lot of time in the lovely pool, just the right size for cooling off and plenty of room for the 3 of us.Roquessels itself is a delightful, quiet village, and the people are all very welcoming. Make sure you stop by Domaine des Trinities with Simon and Monica if you want to try some amazing wine!As ever, we were sad to leave and will definitely be returning again."
