“Our stay at Octopus Hole Beach Cabin was excellent. The cabin location was exceptional, just steps from the Hood Canal. The cabin design was warm and inviting with exposed wood roof beams, exposed wood roof decking, river rock fireplace, fir wood trim and pine (I think) wood flooring.The artwork continued the coastal experience with local and Hawaiian marine subjects in every room.The furnishings were equally excellent with kitchen, living and sleeping areas well-stocked with quality components ……

“A pleasant surprise to find the accommodation was actually as nice as the photos (which is sadly rare in a lot of holiday homes). Very clean, nice, and comfortable, And roomier than expected. Pip and Tanya, at the pub restaurant next door, were welcoming and helpful when we arrived and friendly throughout our stay. Plus the pizzas were huge and tasty. There was a great little band playing to about 6pm on the Sunday evening we arrived, and it was quiet and peaceful for the rest of our stay. It's……

“Host always quick to respond. Log home and grounds were clean and welcoming…kitchen well stocked. Wood stove made it extra cozy during my winter stay. As did the hot tub!Pass for private beach access provided different options for recreational interests. My dog and I set out on a couple different adventures during our stay and had the places to ourselves due to being winter. “My wife and I got away for a long weekend after being kid-free. We brought kayaks and wanted to explore the area. We enjoyed the location very much, with easy access to Hoodsport and Hama Hama. The access to the water wasn't as easy as we hoped, but the fact that there's a little county park in front of the house did work out for us. The neighbors seem very protective of the beach though, so that's weird. Luckily the smoke from the Bear Gulch fire didn't come down low enough to bother us either,……

“Fun and private place to stay. It was nice to have a restaurant and bar as part of the resort. The hosts were most helpful and socially fun! We enjoyed are short stay!”

“Stayed here with my partner and our two pets. The hosts had everything we needed! They even left us a box of cookie dough to make cookies! Overall beautiful view and very cozy! Would definitely stay here again! We felt very safe here. One warning would be to look out for fishing hooks on the floor. I got my sock stuck to the rug by one and had to cut it out. Other than that, perfect experience!”

“Had a great time here, was perfect for a last minute get away! On a quiet, private street and just a few houses down from the community beach access. Had all the basics and some fun board games! Host quickly replied to questions and check in was very easy!”

I really enjoyed the access the the various private parks the included pass allowed, which I wish I had taken advatange of more as an amature nature photographer. The weather was perfect, and I had everything I needed at the cabin. I'm already considering another trip to the area.”
