“Everything was in great working condition and was just what we wanted. Hot tub was great and had plenty of space for fires. My only complaint was that there was no sponge to clean dishes, which made a simple job very frustrating when trying to leave.”

“What a wonderful, relaxing, tranquil retreat. David and Pearle were such gracious hosts, providing so many amenities for our comfort/enjoyment. Morning coffee on the dock and evenings in the hot tub with beautiful lake views were a great way to start and end each day. We enjoyed roasted marshmallows and s'mores by the campfire. The information binder on the counter was so helpful, especially for giving us ideas of places to visit in the area, such as Swallow Falls State Park, Deep Creek State……

“The property was pretty clean but the inside needs maintanence. Doors don’t close, not enough pots and pans, dirty curtains, loose legs on the kitchen table, fire place didn’t work, broken light bulbs, the outside wasn’t bad except that the road desperately needs to be replaced. The potholes are huge!! Staff was nice but the sign said to check in on the other side and the door was padlocked shut. It wasn’t easy to know what that meant. They should have said a more direct location. I had to call……

“I had a peaceful retreat weekend at Spring House. The cabin was just as pictured on Vrbo. The picture windows in the dining room have clear views of the woods and the stream. I walked onto the deck to listen to the stream and look up at the trees, even though it was chilly outside. The cabin inside was warm and cozy. I would definitely stay in the cabin again in the future when I need quiet time away. It is also a short drive to Fallingwater, and I enjoyed a guided tour of the UNESCO world……

“Girls belated Mother's day get away. All over 21and just the girls. We had a wonderful time, little minor hiccups which i messaged owner, he called me in less then 5 minutes or me reaching out. All was taking care of immediately. Cabin was clean, very well equipped, inside beautiful and spacious. Outside beautiful, needed mowed but weather had made that delayed. It was mowed while we were there, which was not a problem. So we got to use the yard too. Hot tub was great. Needed a little lore water……

“Great cabin / home on a creek where you hear the water rushing over the rocks at night! Fire pit was great! Loved the whole place, only issue I had was I have a bad back and the master bed was a bit soft for me, outside of that I would recommend this place to anyone who wants to relax and enjoy nature.”

“We loved the quiet setting, views from the kitchen and living area and the rustic charm and comfort of this beautiful cottage. While we did not stay long enough to enjoy the outdoor streamside firepit, we did enjoy the gas fireplace while having dinner and watching a movie. I did take one star off for the cleaning because although I am allergic to pets and knew this was a pet friendly home, the helpful property manager said the house had been recently deep cleaned and would be given a once over……

“This was a fun and unique place to stay at. It was all on one floor primarily so there wasn't a need to climb the spiral staircase, thankfully. The hot tub was perfect and the beds were comfy.”
