The villa was excellent and suited out requirements for an extended family holiday. All 8 of us enjoyed our stay. There were a couple of small end of season opportunities for improvement which we shared with Amore to pass onto the owners, but I would thoroughly recommend this property to others. The location was excellent with food views. We worked out an easy 30 minute walk into Massa Lubrense that avoided the main roads. It was a bonus that this was a property that kept the pool open until the end of October.

This listing was absolutely incredible

This listing was absolutely incredible. It is a bit far from the touristy things it was a total unique and local experience. The host was very accommodating and help us with vehicle transfers from the train. This villa was gorgeous and I wish we had more time there! 11/10 experience

Great location for exploring the Amalfi Coast and the surrounding area! Beautiful view and lovely home with excellent outdoor space. Bedrooms were spacious and beds were comfortable. Well appointed kitchen, although a little smaller than expected. Much appreciated parking for vehicles. The house manager, Giuseppe, was incredibly helpful and friendly with excellent recommendations for local restaurants and other places to go. Our group of 7 was very happy with our stay! Only drawback: There are limited restaurants within close walking distance, although there are some restaurants that offer free transportation to/from the home.

Beautiful view

We enjoyed our stay at the villa. However, there was practically no Wifi and no phone signal. Guiseppe, the manager was extremely helpful and made our time there more enjoyable. One bedroom did not have any air-conditioning, and the owner would not even provide a fan.

Incredible view and Fantastic Property Manager

The view was absolutely amazing. Incredible property manager - Gisuppe! Our stay would never has been as fabulous without him! He is a wealth of knowledge and so helpful. A deep cleaning of the inside of the property and some fresh pillows and furniture covers in the family room would take this property to the next level.

A Hidden Gem in an awesome location!

What an amazing 4 days we had. We came through the tunnel and wound our way through beautiful scenery. Giuseppe, the property manager, met us, gave us a tour of the beautiful house, told us where we could eat and shop and encouraged us to contact him with any questions! We loved our time in the area and did contact Giuseppe who set us up with waterfront dinner in an exceptional restaurant that included travel to and from the house. A fitting end for our last meal there. I highly recommend this property!

Beautiful view

The property location is great. They view and the pool are amazing. The property manager is very helpful but will charge you call a cab for you. The house is very cute but needs a good cleaning, new linens and some cosmetic work. All are easy fixes. We did have a problem with ants in the upstairs rooms. The property manager sent over someone to spray and left us a can as well. It nearly resolved the issue. It is such a nice place just needs a little tlc 😉

The house was beautifully positioned overlooking the Bay of Naples, Mt. Vesuvius, Ischia, and the tip of Capri. The house was beautifully decorated with terraces to escape to. The kitchen had all essentials however, a few more bowls in different sizes would have helped. (There were no closed containers to store left overs.) Our property manager, Giuseppe, was fantastic and he took the time to explain various aspects of the property, local history, and make recommendations for visiting the area all of which were worthwhile. Finding the place was a little challenging because GPS/Waze/Google Maps took us to a different location. Without contacting Giuseppe we would have been searching much longer. There's a little road off from the bus stop and Terrace CapriBreze Food & Drink that will take you up to the villa's gate. Whatever form of transportation you're taking, it will take you three times longer than you anticipate. Slowing down was very much a part of our experience and the windy roads and cars forced us to take the time to look beyond the next destination. Buon Viaggio!

Villa Stone on the Sea

Villa Stone on the Sea is an absolute gem of a property - the villa is spacious, well equipped, tastefully decorated - and the garden and pool are fantastic. The view is absolutely incredible, perfect to enjoy watching the incredible sunsets and the glistening lights of the Bay of Naples at night. It was very difficult to tear yourself away from it! The villa location is perfect - high on the mountainside, 5 minutes drive from the lovely town of Massa Lubrense and 20 minutes from gorgeous Sorrento. Correspondence with Amore Rentals prior to our holiday was relatively seamless; the local property manager, Giuseppe, was outstanding - he was always on hand via Whatsapp to answer any queries or offer any advice on transportation etc. Our arrival at the villa was much later than expected (in the early hours of the morning after a nightmare of a journey), but Giuseppe was in contact with us to make sure we arrived safely, providing directions and had bought us some essentials to stock the fridge for our arrival. He also advised us of a planned local water turn off, but supplied us with large plastic containers so that we could stock up in preparation. He is very professional, very friendly and approachable - a real credit to Amore Rentals! There were a few very minor points to address and these have been sent to Amore Rentals directly, but in no way did they affect our enjoyment of the holiday and I would certainly recommend staying at this amazing villa to anyone!

Gorgeous View

We spent 10 days in this beautiful villa. The property manager Giuseppe met us at the property and gave us a tour of the house and explained to us where we could go. Anytime we contacted him he always was helpful (even before we arrived) We had a few issues with ants in one of the rooms upstairs and when we contacted Giuseppe he sent us some powder. The pool was always cleaned. Kitchen had mostly everything ( but no paper towels or foil paper or cling film ) and it had only 2 tea towels. Kettle was leaking and we mentioned it on the day we checked out so that they can replace it. The bus stop is just down the road and we found it very handy as we did not want to drive into Sorrento. We had a fabulous holiday and highly recommend this villa. Also the office "amore" very accommodating ( we bought few things from Amazon as we did not want to bring with us and they accepted the delivery and kept it for us until we arrived ) The villa is hard to find with waze /google maps we discovered that the best address to put is ~Via Turro Another thing i would mention is that there are no supermarkets or shops within walking distance! the closest is approximately 2 miles and as the road are very narrows you cannot walk anywhere (no side walks!) We highly recommend this property for your holiday!

Wir hatten ein paar sehr schöne Tage in dieser schönen Villa. Tolle Aussicht auf den Golf von Neapel, den Vesuv, Ischia und Capri. Wenn es künftig noch einen Schutz vor Insekten und Geschirrtücher gibt, wäre das eine super Aufwertung!

Wonderful situation

Lovely week spent together as a family. Beautiful views once we had negotiated the hairy drive up from Sorrento (road to Positano is an easier drive). Plenty of restaurants a short drive away. Agent very helpful. One thing missing - a corkscrew!!

Mostly OK,but not all that good .no bottle opener or tin opener,no dish washer as wouldn't work. No soaps or washing up liquid.Needed a good clean and renew covers as very shabby.No service though booked for 9 nights,thought that a bit poor.microwave was dirty and some of the glass and china.

Terrific Views and Pool (needs some other improvements that are hopefully being addressed)

The views and pool are absolutely amazing. The house is large and well designed with gorgeous terraces. The washing machine works well and it’s nice to have three full baths. The Villa needs to be improved, however. There were ants in the bathrooms and bedrooms (though the property manager indicated it was having that issue addressed after we left). The WiFi is very weak - we were getting an internet speed of less only 1 MB/second. The kitchen needs to be better equipped. There was no cork screw, toaster, coffee maker, towels or paper towels, and the dishes were scant. The Villa also smelled musty on the first floor. The bed linens and towels were also worn and need to be upgraded. We gave all this feedback to the manager, so hopefully they will address these items. Despite these issues, the view and pool are so nice, we enjoyed the stay. If the items above were addressed, it could be a five star.
