「The property was great for the one medium-sized dog we brought. The rooms were very clean and comfortable. You could really tell that the house is loved and lived-in. It is not just a furnished rental property, but clearly someone’s home they have spent a lot of time furnishing with high-quality items. The interior of the house was just as nice as the scenery outside, making for an effortlessly relaxing vacation. 」

「We did not want for anything! The house is full of historic charm. Even when the temperature was -11, it was warm inside. New windows eliminated any drafts I was concerned about when booking the house. Scott is so accommodating. He brought us farm fresh duck eggs to make for breakfast. 「The property was beautiful, on gorgeous farmland, and a wonderful farmhouse. The bedrooms were nice, well furnished, and comfortable. The downstairs was comfy, stocked with movies and games, and the grill outside was perfect and easy to use. However, the house was not very clean once we checked in. 「The property was wonderful. I rented the house for a reunion with my Smith friends and it was just perfect. The house was very comfortable and bright. The beds were super cozy and the place is beautifully decorated. We also enjoyed visiting with the barn cats on the porch! Our only issue was with the fireplace not drafting properly and smoke billowing into the living room, leading us to extinguishing the fire. Would rent this place again!」

「We had a great time at the Taggart River House! Views and light were unbelievable and it was so nice to be there with extended family and have everyone have their own lovely spaces with bathrooms. A quick walk into town made the days even richer. Would 100% stay again! Also well stocked for kids with a high chair, crib, etc. only missing one stair gate which would have made it perfect, but we put furniture in front of those stairs and that was a great solution too. 」

「This may be the nicest home my family has stayed in during a ski vacation! The home was warm and cozy and had every little item one could ever need. The place was ultra clean when we checked in, and even smelled inviting. The place was also beautifully decorated and felt like a real home, rather than a rental unit. The bedding was excellent, and all the appliances worked great. Finally, the host was attentive, communicative, and handled our small requests quickly. We will definitely be back!」
