“Overall we loved it, though it would have been good to know that you can't drive to the hotel if you don't have a proper 4WD as it is located at the end of a long and steep tarished road. Luckily the hotel offers an transport service for the dirty road between 8am and 5pm. They also offer food(preorder only) and drinks at the bar. The staff was very nice and always helpful. Our favourite was the weekday driver. The cottage had a very nice kitchen unfortunately not much utensils in it... Being so……

“Berkey himself is a gracious, helpful, and thoughtful host. His communications are excellent and once there, he will be there for you. He attends to details and has pride in this hideaway. It requires a walk up ~40 steep steps but once on top, your are in a beautiful valley with wildlife and jungle sounds. Accommodations are basic but sufficient, if you are looking for an experience more like Dominica than a luxury hotel, Berkey's place is fine. Access to the property is straightforward and……

They were so supportive and attentive to all of my needs, even when some of them came late in the night. I loved their friendship and huge smile when greeting me anytime we met each other. “Our stay at the Wallhouse Apartment 2 was wonderful. The apartment met all our needs. The rooms were of a good size, clean and had air conditioning. The kitchen had full size appliances and was function for cooking and preparing meals. The shower sufficed and had a full size washer. We dried our clothing on the provided line out back. We kept our rental car outside the gate and on close approximate to the apartment. The neighborhood was quiet and safe for me and my two kids. 10/10”
