"Shower needs update. Loose tile in front of toilet. Dirty and ratty towels. Disappointing for a Hampton inn. "

"It was remote with almost no light pollution. You'll seldom see brighter stars. It had everything we needed. Understand that it is remote, even for remote. The host was great to deal with. The housing is exactly as listed...a farmhouse far from the road. It was comfy, it was cozy. It didn't have the frills some would like to see in a stay but it was perfect for my wife and me. You wont find as much for so little anywhere near Caprock."

"Fantastic place to stay! Excellent location to Caprock Canyon State Park. House was very comfortable and clean. Stayed with another couple. Loved the swing on the large covered porch. Great kitchen for making our own meals. Popped popcorn and relaxed by the fireplace to end the day. Thoroughly enjoyed!!"

"Great staff and very clean room. However we were given a room with a sink and bathtub that would not drain. The shower had a large crack in it as well. As much as we paid for our one night (which was a bit ridiculous in price but only decent hotel available), the sink and bathtub should have worked properly. The staff being so friendly and attentive is the only reason it was 3 stars and not lower. "
