It's also a short drive to Waihi Beach for food and fun activities.Just 2 things to keep in mind (not a critique!): (1) the driveway is gravel and steep but easy to navigate and (2) the kitchenette is small so check specific amenities ahead of time.”

“This was an excellent place to stay. We were given a warm welcome by the host and several dogs! The tiny house was in a paddock with sheep, a horse and chickens but was so peaceful. It was very clean and comfortable and, although compact, it had everything we needed including some breakfast items. We enjoyed listening to the birds and loved it so much that we wished we had been staying longer. If you want a peaceful retreat, this is the place to go.”
