"The staff was very helpful and polite. There are several restaurants nearby to choose from. The Local is right down the street and was excellent. Coffee 24 hours a day was nice and sitting on the deck in the morning was a very pleasant."

"Our two-night stay in Cabin #3 was fantastic. Check-in was quick and easy, and the cabin was super quiet, incredibly clean, and exceptionally cozy. It was fully stocked with plenty of everything, from fresh bathroom towels and amenities to a well-equipped kitchen with all the dishes and utensils we needed. While there wasn’t indoor sitting space in the cabin, the mesh-covered porch area was a lifesaver. It allowed us to sit and eat comfortably at the table while completely protected from the heavy mosquitoes. The smart TV was a great touch, but the absolute highlight was the double-line curtains, which were amazing for blocking out the sun when it stayed up until 10 PM. Highly recommend!"

"It was a great stay at the Fairview Inn from start to finish. It was an eclectic stay at the property - the history, the mythical link to the television series Northern Exposure, and the locals who manage the bar, lodging, and beer garden. All were friendly, fun, and interesting. We stayed two nights at the Fairview Inn. It was all we hoped for and more. Thanks, Fairview Inn, staff for a great couple of days and nights!"

"We stayed for one night after a long flight to Anchorage.p The hotel was very good. It’s dated and pretty basic but it had everything we needed. There were 5 of us and we have a “room” with 2 double beds and a pull out sofa but it was actually a one bedroom suite. A room with a double bed, then a double bed and sofa bed in the main room. It had a full kitchen with fridge and stovetop. Everything was clean and plenty of parking but not fancy at all. Nothing walking distance but shops and restaurants in Wasilla were only 5-10 minute drive away. Great, no frills hotels. Staff was really nice and friendly too."
