“The perfect stay in the quaint lovely small town of Castliglione de Sicilia. Great location if you’re going to hike Mt Etna. Comfortable clean rooms with gorgeous views from the rooms and communal rooftop. Highly recommend if you want a quiet more local stay.”

“While the views from our room were spectacular, the ceiling height was lacking. Beams everywhere criss-crossed the room presenting great challenges in navigating the room (particularly at night). As arragont as it sounds, most people spoke a little English, but these hosts didn’t know more than 2 words and seemed annoyed by everything. We tried to avoid interacting with them. Our room was also 3 stories up narrow marble stairs. This would not be a good situation for elderly or……

“Staff were great and very helpful, Though we found we got better/faster responses to questions when emailing directly versus using expires messenger. The breakfast was wonderful with lots of options. We also ate an evening meal there and it was delicious. Centrally located for for exploration of the etna region. Room was very clean. Would not hesitate to stay again or recommend to a friend”

“It’s a beautiful small property with a very cool design. Fairly rustic though and with a bit of a farmhouse feel and therefore maybe not for everyone. Managers and owners Giacomo and Paola are both fantastic. Giacomo in particular was a superstar, passionately speaking about the wines of the winery and the region, giving us great restaurant recommendations and really going above and beyond with a smile. ”

The hotel is set in a beautifully restored historic mansion on a quiet street, creating a peaceful and elegant atmosphere. Check-in was effortless. “It was very well located, close to the center of Linguaglossa. The gardens were extensive and charming with a wide variety of plants and trees. The staff was very nice and Alfio was the perfect host. The one dinner we had at the hotel restaurant was exceptional. Highly recommended.”
