"Keiryuso Siorie is an excellent traditional Japanese inn. The staff were welcoming, the hotel was clean and well maintained, and the food was excellent! I am thinking about going back again."

The rooms are Japanese Rooms with Tatami, the Onsen's are beautiful and the key feature of the hotel. It's quite luxurious by Japanese standards but recognise you will probably be the only foreigners in the entire hotel. But a warning as they they played tricky in the booking. "Had an Onsen in the hotel which is very convenient. We were able to use it several times a day and it had a great view of the sun rising and setting while soaking. We didn’t have many other guests when we were there so really had it mainly to ourselves. "

"Convenient for public transport and the castle was within walking distance. Unfortunately i was given a smoking room which stank like an old ashtray. The room was heavily nicotine stained and even after using freshner it still smelt.the Free breakfast was limited in choice and not topped up, so first in best selection. The staff are friendly and helpful and i will stay here again but i will specify a non smking room."
