Welcome to Hermit Crab Cottage! Enjoy your own sandy private beach. Scape the Cape Cod traffic!
The cottage is located on a private point of Buzzards Bay . Enjoy breathtaking views of the ocean, Ned’s Point Lighthouse, wildlife and Salt Marsh.
The cottage has a bedroom with a queen size bed that overlooks the ocean, a guest bedroom with two twin beds. Bring your kayaks, paddle boards , wind surf or just relax and watch the sailboats sail by.
**Please Note That There might be a Construction of a Cottage on the lot next door in Summer 2024.**

lovely space to stay while we got married
My fiancee and I stayed in this lovely cottage for our wedding just down the road at Shining Tides. We especially loved the privacy of the cottage and beautiful view of Buzzards Bay. We loved sitting out on the porch overlooking the bay, and having dinner on the table on the covered part of the deck. Thank you for a lovely stay!

Everything about this cottage was absolutely perfect! This was one of the best rental experiences I've ever had. The views and the beach were amazing! Wonderfully private and so quiet and peaceful. I have never stayed in a better-appointed rental property, either. Ana has great taste. She was perfectly helpful and communicative too. The place was impeccably clean, as well, obviously deep-cleaned and sanitized by a professional. My wife and I had an amazing time, and we would 100% stay here again.

Relaxing Long Weekend!
The hermit crab is truly a hidden gem! The location and views are one of a kind. It was so relaxing and peaceful to go to sleep listening to the ocean and wake up and have coffee on the deck overlooking the water. Ana, the host, is very accommodating and went out of her way to make our trip special. We will definitely be back. Thank you, Ana!!
