Ivery nice low-key place to stay.

Beautiful Location/Relaxing Stay

We had a wonderful vacation. The property is as described and the location is perfect for quick access to the beach and shared pool. The owner is incredibly responsive. If you want a peaceful and tranquil getaway, this is the perfect choice.

Lovely, peaceful vacation!

Great owners, great condo, great location! We couldn't have been happier with our stay on Molokai. The perfect place to visit when you need to check-out of the rat race. If you're looking for stunning beaches, beautiful drives, and ZERO pretension, Molokai is it. Mick and Dorothy's condo is excellent--comfortable, close to the pool, and has a lovely view. Plan to cook your own meals (restaurants are not Molokai's strong point.)

Fantastic, Relaxing, Gorgeous View

This is a beautiful rental, with a view that the pictures just don't do justice. Oceanfront, with no other rentals in your view, just steps from the ocean. Molokai is a laid back island, if you're looking for a relaxing vacation, this is the spot for you. The owner, Dorothy is extremely helpful and nice. I recommend renting a car from a local rental and taking the opportunity to explore, you literally can't get lost driving.

Perfect Location

We recently stayed in your wonderful condo and found it to be so well equipped.The kitchen had everything we could have needed. We really appreciated the beach chairs and towels. The best part is your location, the view and the crashing waves which we could hear all night. I loved sitting on the lanai watching the waves. This was our first trip to Molokai and the longer we were there, the greater the appreciation we had for this special place. We certainly recommend your condo to anyone!

Condo with spectacular view

The condo was comfortable and the amenities were adequate. It could, however, use a thorough cleaning. We enjoyed going for walks nearby and loved hanging around the patio just watching the waves. The sliding screen door did not operate very well so it took some work to open and close. overall it was an enjoyable stay. thank you.

very pleased, again

my wife, kids (aged 4 and 8) and i stayed our final 2 weeks in molokai at this unit (previously at VRBO property 71765). we were just as happy with this unit. in addition to being clean and well-stocked, this unit is located even closer to the beach and pool; the kids were especially happy with that! the condo complex was quiet and residents/guests friendly and helpful. both prior to arriving and during our stay, mick and dorothy were very responsive to our questions and requests. we highly recommend this unit for a small family like ours, and the owners for their excellent service/property management.

A Magical Place To Stay On Molokai For Our 30th Anniversary!!!

We were looking for the perfect place to spend our special anniversary. We had been to all of the other Hawaiian islands except this one. We were looking for a peaceful oceanfront place to stay -- away from the crowds -- since Covid-19 is still around. We looked at several properties on Molokai, but Dorothy's property kept calling our names. We made the perfect choice! The views from our lanai (deck) were exactly as it shows in the pictures -- with the palm trees forming a natural frame for great sunset photographs!!! The upgraded shower/bathroom and kitchen are a selling point. The bed was comfortable! The island has a lot of history, which we found interesting. We found a virtual smorgasbord of beautiful beaches and hiking trails with very few people around! We loved the pool; it was close to our unit, with a gorgeous view of the ocean. There is a small general store on-site so we didn't have to run back to the grocery store about 20 miles away. We were amazed at how many food items they carry. We highly recommend this condo!!!

Million Dollar View!

I just returned from an 11 day stay at this condo and enjoyed it immensely! The view from the bedroom and lanai of this condo is truly spectacular. If you enjoy being lulled to sleep by the sound of ocean waves, then this is the place for you. As an older female traveling alone, I felt perfectly safe at all times. The resort has a visible presence of security guards who drive around in golf carts checking on the property without being intrusive. I was very pleased with the communication I had with the owners. They responded quickly to any questions I had via telephone or email. I have previously rented accommodations via VRBO, but this is the first time I have done so with a property that had no reviews. I read the reviews of the owners' other rental condo, and knew that I couldn't go wrong. I was not disappointed. The owners recently purchased this condo and are still in the process of redecorating and making very minor repairs. I hope to return to Molokai next year, and will definitely stay here. Close to Water & Relaxing Location

We stayed five nights in this condo. The view from the bedroom and living area is indeed wonderful. The beach is just a short walk away. The unit had everything we needed for our stay. It is very apparent the condo complex was built decades ago and this particular unit is in need of updates. The dishwasher is not functioning, the fridge door is in need of serious TLC and paint, the sheets were thin & "pilled", the drapes need repair/replacement, slider doors need repair to allow easier access & proper closure. It has one bed for two people, the couch might sleep one person. It does not appear to sleep any additional people. It should also be mentioned that 11 + surrounding buildings and the reception, clubhouse and all buildings associated are in a "condemned" condition - closed for many years, and rotting away. It was a little eerie seeing these buildings. The only amenity still open is the pool and a basic little store. Because the adjoining golf course was closed around 10 years ago, the greens are gone and the paths are overgrown. However, it now allows for extensive walking around the associated property. Molokai is beautiful. If you like walking, hiking, and exploring, sunbathing on amazing beaches, peace and quiet...this is the island for you. It is important to rent a car for this location.

The BEST Condo on Molokai.....Best View Ever....walk 30 steps....White Sand....Turquoise Waters....

Wow, I am not sure where to start. This was our second time to your amazing island of Molokai. The first time we stayed on the East side, gorgeous mountain views, but there is something so magical about the West side and it may have something to do with your amazing condo!! The views from this condo are spectacular, I would literally take 30 steps and be on a white sand beach with turquoise waters laying at my feet! The best part about it - THERE WERE ONLY ONE SET OF FOOTPRINTS, mine! Once in a while my hubby would see someone on my beach,but very rarely! Your condo had the BEST view of all the condos. After unpacking our suitcases, my worries melted away on your lanai.....yes, I am still dreaming of your view!!! The condo was VERY well stocked....all the spices, cooking oils, utensils that you would ever need. Beach towels to use, beach chair - it was great! VERY clean and just perfect for the two of us! I loved opening up the windows at night and hearing nothing except the sound of the ocean waves and then being awaken by the sound of the morning birds.....it was truly PARADISE! I would recommend your to condo to anyone! The location was great - quick trip to town, but take it slow and look at your surroundings! I LOVED the farmers market on the weekend, it is right downtown by the bank, cannot miss it. I sat and listened to stories and really got to know the people of Molokai. It truly is my favorite island.....I hope the people NEVER let it become comercialized like Maui is. Once again, Dorothy you were so wonderful to work with and your condo was a dream! I took numerous photos of the view and will send you a few. If you cannot tell by this review, I would recommend your condo to ANYONE - clean, excellent view, quiet, great kitchen, good king size bed, clean pool, staff at resort were FABULOUS, loved the gift shop onsite, I just cannot say enough about you and your condo!! Amazing 2 Nights on the West side of Molokai

I was so pleased with this stay! Dorothy could not have been more accommodating and kind with response to my frequent questions. this was my boyfriend's and my 2nd time to Molokai, but the first time on the West end of the island. It was amazing!! Beautiful beaches, one was basically just us for 2 hours near the end of the day. The surf and waves were strong but we thoroughly enjoyed ourselves just chasing the waves. We were fortunate enough to see a picture-perfect sunset the very first night. There were clouds right at the horizon line, but the weather was perfect :) We are definitely talking about coming back to this side with family. I wish there were restaurants on this side of the island.. but not an issue with the resort or condo. The only thing I can think to say that is not 100% positive, is my let down that there was no hot tub. The photos for the resort and my search filter had hot tub as one amenity I was seeking. There was no hot tub on this resort's property. The size of the unit, location, decor and supplies offered were the best and left us with no complaints!! Mahalo Dorothy, will be in touch!!

Molokai Visit

Loved our first stay on Molokai, totally different than all the other islands. The unit was great, the view is amazing, hear the waves crashing. Pool area was nice also, very quiet and the bbq areas worked well. Unfortunate for the remaining buildings of the old resort, hopefully some day they will get those torn down or rebuilt.

Paradise

We fell in I love with Molokai although it wouldn’t be for everyone. The condo was perfect for us. Very well appointed and had everything you could need. Extremely comfortable and so well situated to hear the pounding surf and magnificent sunsets from the lanai. Mick and Dorothy were perfect hosts. They happen to be on property and we had a bit of trouble figuring out some things and they came right over and were very helpful. If what you are looking for is quiet, undeveloped natural settings and a funky town in a laid back atmosphere Molokai is it! The condo was perfection ,well situated and user friendly. Already looking forward to our return. Mick and Dorothy are fabulous hosts. Mahalo and Aloha Danit and Rodger.
