“My family and I had a fantastic time staying at the Weir House. Our only regret was that we could only stay one. From the patio of the house, we could hear the rapids of the river and surrounded by verdant forest. Staying here truly was a highlight of our Sri Lanka trip. Mr. Maha, the manager was so very helpful, including assisting us to book a hotel in Kandi when it turned out that the place we originally booked was a huge disappointment. He even arranged 2 tuk tuks to take us to the……

“Beautiful place with very friendly and proactive staff... Vijay was star of the place... the food was well cooked and we ended up licking our fingers in the end... must try the chicken curry... it’s a perfect place if you want to cut of from the world ”

“We loved our stay at Kandy Shady Trees thanks to the very welcoming and accommodating nature of our hosts. The room we stayed in was large and very comfortable and breakfast was fresh and substantial. The location is up a steep hill (we took a tuk tuk up and down it) but could be walked. Views from the property were great and it was in close proximity to central Kandy and many worth visiting sites. Our host also accommodated us by driving us to local sites for a very reasonable fee. He was……

“Obs!

“The Glass House is possibly the best accommodation and service we have experienced in over 40 years of exploring this wonderful country. The house design and location are breathtaking. The views are spectacular (make sure you are up for dawn). On site Chef Kevin made traditional Sri Lankan meals of exceptional quality. Kapilo was there ready for any of our needs without being intrusive. Milan and Chandra keep the house and gardens running and in beautiful order. Can I say more ? If you don’t……

“Let me start with the good points since there are very few : the look of the room - beautiful Now the rest, I’m an experience traveller and experienced in hospitality and I am ensuring that this hotel can charge such a high price or the poor service provided : - we cannot driving ourselves and it’s been impossible to find the hotel : the pin location is not accurate (the hotel is located almost an hour from kandy im the countryside) and there are no sign anywhere to indicate the right……
