“We were a family group gathering for my daughter’s 30th birthday. The property was fantastic and the lovely garden perfect for hosting a BBQ one evening. Nice walks nearby and obviously near to Brighton and Hove. The area is quite residential and felt very safe and relaxed. The owners were super helpful returning a delivery that arrived after we had left - going above and beyond. Thank you so much!”

“Some of the basics were not provided on our stay so really wasn't worth the money. Communication - didn't receive the check-in details by email as instructions said. The day before the stay I tried to contact the host multiple ways, including Hotels.com support x 2, with no luck. Eventually on the day of the stay I was told I would get the information at 12pm. At around 1pm I had not received the information so chased again. Was finally given the information at 2pm but was rudely told that……

“House was not clean, the effect of which was made worse by the sterile white decor. We sent photos to the host and they said they’ve passed these to their housekeeping team so hopefully it gets better. Unfortunately even then this will be the kind of accommodation I wouldn’t suggest unless you simply need the basic requirements of four rooms and a parking space: You’ll need someone tall to unbar the latch on the garden gate, the single room’s heater works poorly, the living room is weirdly……
