“Hotel was quiet and clean. Staff were pleasant and helpful. Only complaint would be variety at breakfast, but what was there was good, not rubbery or undercooked. I enjoyed my 5 day stay close to the base, shopping and restaurants.”

“The room was clean but had a rusted refrigerator, door hinges and handle bars. The staff was corteous, breakfast was all right. You can't beat the price of the place but if you are concerned about safety, I didn't like that the rooms are accessible from the outside.”

“I don't usually do reviews but this was such an enjoyable experience I had to write. A very fun, eclectic room and hotel. Only a few rooms, not like the monster hotels on the beach. Well decorated room with monster shower, great staff, close to beach and fun espresso bar. We will be back!!”

“Booked a “1 King Bed with Sofa bed, Balcony, Oceanfront (Balcony)” with check in time that starts at 4 PM and ends at 5:30 AM. I show up and the room given to me was a room on the first floor with a balcony facing closed shops and flipped tables. When I complained to the receptionist, the explanation I got was that “we checked-in late…”. There are no mentions of what is considered “late check-in” while booking. For all I know I could’ve showed up at 4:05 PM and they would’ve told me my room……

“We really enjoyed our stay and had a very positive experience overall. We cannot comment on the breakfast since we were not available during those hours. The area is quiet and peaceful, with very little noise, which we truly appreciated. There are also gas stations and grocery stores nearby, and the parking area is spacious and convenient. The only issue we encountered was with the cleanliness of the room. When we arrived, we found some nail clippings near the air conditioning unit/window……

“Love this Historic Hotel. I would sugest a 1920 theme staff and all. Have a 1920's themed dances, dining, & evens. Even if it's just for one week. Would be a lot of fun. Cool winter month would be best. Yes we saw a ghost shadow walk by our door and there was construction down the hall then we were startled by banging on our door no one was there..... Nice comfy bed & cold room. Nice escape from the summer heat. Stay here you will LOVE IT!”
