The facility is still going through a remodel of all the rooms. Entry door felt loose but did lock properly. Mattress was of a much cheaper quality and neither my wife or I slept well due to it. The bathroom door was hung improperly and needs to be either shaved in the top left corner so it will shut as it should. Need to re-caulk the entire shower, especially where the tub meets the floor. Water pressure and shower head were good. Clearly second hand end tables by bed were clean but very worn. A simple sanding and spray painting would do wonders, same goes for the desk. Highly recommend different front window curtains, the room was exceptional bright for sleeping due to the 20 foot tower light in the parking lot, 30 feet from the front door, and the lighting on each room entrance, (all outdoor entrances for rooms). the staff was courteous and tried to assist where they could. This is only one of two hotels in the town of Monticello, and the better of the two.

The staff were ok, the room was clean, but primitive, with old, rickety, sparse furniture. Old mattresses were stacked on the front lawn! There are no amenities. The price was the best feature. "You get what you pay for" (most of the time).

Just ok

The beds are not very comfortable and the blow dryer was broken. Otherwise, it is a basic motel with some cosmetic issues but it worked for the two nights we needed to stay there.

The only thing I was a bit nervous about was that my room had the base for a smoke detector but the smoke detector was missing. ? If washout for repairs.

This property was not very clean, bedding (top) cover was dingy which caused me to not want this cover over my body. Very old and not well-kept; little black bugs all over the place; a minute piece of a soap bar which would not be enough to bathe you properly. THIS IS A LODGING THAT I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND TO ANYONE TRAVELING IN THE MONTICELLO, MS AREA!

I liked the proximity to my family but this is an older motel and the small love seat in our room was not that comfortable. Bed and linens were ok. No coffee maker in room which would have been nice

Slept like a baby.

The condition of the rooms very decent compared to a lot of others I have lived in. It was definitely worth the price. I am glad I choose that one and I plan on stay there again considering how close it is to my job.

The parking lot has so many holes its hard to drive on it. No breakfast. No shampoo just bar soap. They need extra security latch on main door to room. They have done a few updates but could use newer mattress and definetly fix the parking lot.
