“When my husband and I first located this Cabin on Vrbo, it seemed almost too good to be true. There must be a catch! But everything was as perfect as it seemed online. Rick Gonsor is the most thoughtful, gracious host.He provided us with all the information we needed and showed us around. The cabin was just perfect! “This was an adorable little cabin that was quite easy to get to and was in the middle of basically everything we wanted to see. The cabin itself was cozy but the owners had some unusual requests as far as keeping it warm enough for our family, especially when it snows mid-trip.There wasn't really any good places for our pup to go to the bathroom, so that was a bit of a challenge but we loved that we were able to bring him with us. Overall, it was a sweet little cabin that we loved calling home……

“Excellent location!! The property is absolutely charming and is every thing you could want from 170 year old log cabin. So close to Grandfather Mountain. We loved sitting by the gas fireplace. The screened in porch was an excellent place to eat dinner. Had an issue with streaming services on the TV but the host responded immediately and worked with us to get the matter resolved so we could watch our favorite shows after exploring Boone, Blowing Rock, and Banner Elk. Would definitely stay again!”

The hot tub and an unexpected snow added to our delight (Floridians here).
