Thank your for your feedback Mr. Morris. This is a non-smoking facility however guests can smoke outside the room. You were charged the smoking fee because housekeeping found distinctive odor of smoking along with ashes and remains of used cigarette in your room. We are sorry you did not like the charge but is needed to maintain the condition of our rooms for future guest.

We had a strong storm system pass through the area during the visit and with heavy winds, the water tends to find its way under the door sweep slightly. We have reviewed the CCTV footage and were unable to locate you attempting to check-in last night at our hotel. It could be possible you stopped at another location? Your reservation was pre-paid through expedia but the hotel does require a major credit/debit card for incidental. PayPal is not accepted by the hotel but can be used to pay on travel agent websites such as Expedia.
