Despite the frigid weather, nearby shops and the casino maintained a warm and welcoming atmosphere. The well-plowed driveway and spotless house made for a warm, cozy, and comfortable stay.”

“A weekend in McGregor IA to attend a family funeral. Our hosts were amazing from the time we booked till we left to check in w/us on our accommodations. The property is a beautiful home w/ all new amenities plus dog friendly. We had access to a full backyard for our dog plus able to grill out & sit on a private balcony to enjoy meals & overlook downtown McGregor! We highly recommend this property. It was so much fun to explore nearby Wyalusing State Park, and we really enjoyed the game room on our rainy day. The home even had games for the younger kiddos to play, which was an added bonus! “Spring at this cozy cabin was wonderful as wildflowers emerged and migrating and local birds filled the forest with their beautiful song and nesting activities. After a day of hiking, we relaxed with a campfire under the brilliant star filled sky as the barred owl hooted with its new fledging nearby. Heidi is so easy to communicate with, but just like our first two stays at this cabin, we had no issues. The owners make it easy to have a very enjoyable, peaceful stay!”

“We had a lot of fun with the unique swimming pond, frogs and local hiking. Read the description- it's a cabin house. Bring all your towels- bath and kitchen- dishwasher soap and any cleaner you might want to wipe down a counter or sink. Kitchen has limited glassware and silverware but adequate pots and pans. Bring all your bedding. Beds were "fair" in comfort and cleanliness. Plenty of indoor space. There is a gas grill.on the deck and fire pit was set up well, Birds, butterflies and deer were……

“Very nice cabin. Clean and well stocked. Pictures are spot on. The beds are comfortable and lots of pillows. Loved the decor and over all feel of the place. I would recommend to anyone to stay here. Con: very close to the highway and the train tracks. Did not bother me but just be aware. The trains at night were loud but I turned a fan on the second night and slept fine.”

“Many listings can seem to over-sell the condition of the property, or the scope of other benefits the property offers to people staying there. Neither of these things happened for me and my wife during our stay here. I believe the description was undersold in the listing, since the property more than exceeded our expectations. Extremely clean, and neat. All listed amenities were present, and those that we accessed were 100% useful. Definitely recommend this location to anyone considering a stay……
