Beautiful house

House kitchen was well stocked. Nice deck areas. Plenty of beds. With the addition of several reading lamps in bedrooms and seating area, place would be perfect.

Beautiful home with all of the amenities! Amazing views and the two family rooms provided plenty of space for the large group. One of the furnaces was not working properly which made it a little on the chilly side. Otherwise it was great!

Lovely house with great views for large family reunion

There were 16 extended family members sharing this house for a week, with age range from 18 months to 78 years. The 7 bedrooms accommodated us all. The large kitchen with two refrigerators allowed us to cook all of our meals there. We all ate outside on the porch almost every night, but the dining room also accommodated all of us (with some sitting at the kitchen counter.). The great room was wonderful for games, and we enjoyed the hot tub almost every night. This house is in a community on the top of Wisp Mountain. The lake is a 10 minute drive away, and there is a slip for docking a boat. A word of warming for avid lake swimmers: Deep Creek Lake is not for swimmers, except at the small guarded beach at Deep Creek Lake State Park. There are too many motor boats on the lake to swim anywhere else. There were maintenance issues, but they were dealt with in a reasonable amount of time. I highly recommend this property.

Great view. Dated, dirty home. Unkept property.

Aside from the breathtaking view, the house was very disappointing. The decor is dated. The furniture is cheap, broken and dirty. The carpet is worn and filthy- even torn on the 3rd floor. The area rugs are disgustingly dirty and worn. We wore our shoes the whole week. The weeds have overtaken the plants. The porch was covered in spiderwebs, peeling paint, and dirt. The house was filthy upon our arrival. The bathroom floors were covered with hair. The rest of the floors were visibly dirty. The mattresses were in terrible shape and did not have mattress covers. The bedding was stained and thread bare. Several sheets had holes in them. The dust was thick and obviously untouched for quite some time. The property management company sent over 2 people to clean, replace linens and put on mattress pads, so we had to leave for 4 hours. The WiFi is extremely slow and sometimes not functional at all; certainly not able to handle multiple users at once. The main family room TV is not a smart TV, so we could not sign into Netflix or HULU, nor fast forward commercials. While the property management company did respond quickly in sending cleaners and a WiFi repair man, they never checked back to see if the problems were addressed. Multiple people messaged me about the house when they saw pictures of our vacation posted. Obviously I dissuaded them. I would not rent this home again.
