Deep Creek visit

Dock with the property was super convenient. The pictures of the house were obviously old as the house was run down and did not appear fresh and new as photos represented. The hot tub was foul and we could not use it, very disappointing.

Mixed feelings

When you rent a property with no a/c you expect to be able to open all the windows. Every other window had no screen. Additional fans would help (i left 2 box fans for the next guests). Dehumidifier could not keep up on the bottom floor so it was not fun sleeping there. Cobwebs and decks were in need of TLC. The shower on the main floor was awful prob because of buildup. Overall location was good..home was spacious. Walk to the dock dangerous because of roots...I fell and rolled halfway to the lake.

Mchenry ski weekend

1980s dated home. Dog poop on back deck/driveway. Kids had good time in basement. Fireplace smoked pretty bad, set off fire alarms couple times. Overall good stay, but not worth the price

Family Vacation Thanksgiving 2019

Adventure Bound was a perfect home for us, and our 5 adult children. The kitchen had all of the necessary cooking equipment, the living room/ dining room were roomy enough for all of us. The children enjoyed the pool table, basement and hot tub. The location was perfect for us. We enjoyed the lake, activities at Wisp, and our short drive to the State parks. The house was clean and easy to access. We look forward to staying here again, and highly recommend Adventure Bound.

Adventure Bound at Deep Creek Lake

Generally speaking, we were disappointed with Adventure Bound Lakehouse. The house was dirty and you could tell it hadn’t been cleaned recently. Sleeping capacity was good as advertised but uncomfortable. Lots of cobwebs and dirt inside the house. The decks and balcony were weathered and dirty. The house needed updates. There was no air conditioning and when we opened the windows for some fresh air, we discovered most of them did not have screens. Two families drove many hours from out of state and we tried to get an early check in only to find out it would cost extra to check in at 1pm vs 4pm... really? I though this was unreasonable given the weekly rate. To top it off, the rental agency had the gall to ask us if it was ok to allow a realtor in the property during the time of our stay to show the property to potential buyers - maybe I should have charged them for inconveniencing my family vacation. The owners and realty company need to take a hard look at what they are offering at this price point. The silver lining?? ... Our families made the best of it anyway and spent most of our time away on hikes and the lake which was a really good idea.
