「The cabin is as described - although it is a dry cabin, it offered a lot of little amenities that make it a lot nicer. Yes, the bugs are bad - but you have to expect that in Northern MN. The outhouse was a little overwhelming depending on the time of day - not sure if it’s venting as it should, but that was the only thing that was a disappointment. We had a severe thunderstorm roll in over night, and we were certainly happy to be in a cabin. 」

「It was me and my dog flash, here over a long weekend. I look for properties with not a lot of action going on. I am an introvert and thrive on peace, solitude and tranquility. This place filled those boxes nicely. The Sax-Zim bog is nearby and Duluth is not far either. Birders, a great place to be near the bog!!! The pics are just a couple of the ones I took at Sax-Zim. 」

「I definitely would recommend staying at this beautiful lake cabin! Owners are friendly, the house and property are clean! Has many amenities for any type of fun. The kids’ favorite part was fishing on the private lake. For mom and dad it was sitting on the dock watching them swim and enjoy the kayaks! We hope to return someday soon…. a little longer tho!」

「We loved our stay! The sandy beach was great for the kids, and they had fun fishing right off the dock. We really enjoyed the kayak and paddle boards. Inside, the kitchen was well-stocked, beds were comfortable, and we loved the coffee station! We would stay here again!」

「My fiancé and I spent a wonderful weekend here in total relaxation and peace. I couldn’t remember the last time we’d been somewhere that doesn’t have the constant subtle hum of a fridge or electricity. This cabin has everything you truly need and the hosts are so thoughtful. We felt safe, happy and proud of ourselves for the tech break! Beautiful river front and trails right in front of you. Wonderful!」
