Welcome to The River House, your ideal sanctuary for a rafting, hiking, and fishing adventure in the breathtaking wilderness along the Wild and Scenic Rogue River. Nestled on three acres of serene land with 300 feet of riverfront, this home offers a tranquil and private escape, complete with all the comforts of home.

Our fully equipped kitchen has everything you need for your culinary endeavors, including spices, pantry essentials, a blender, mixer, food processor, and a large country griddle. Each bedroom features cozy beds adorned with high-quality linens and plush pillows, ensuring a restful night’s sleep. Bathrooms are stocked with ample towels, soap, toilet paper, and more for your convenience.

Recently remodeled and tastefully furnished, The River House is designed for your perfect getaway. Step outside to the expansive 16x40 ft deck overlooking the river, where you can fire up the gas grill for a delightful cookout. Enjoy family fun at the horseshoe pit with a stunning river view, or explore the vast grassy yard—perfect for tossing a football, playing flashlight tag, or practicing your golf swing.

Our private gravel beach offers easy access to the river, making it a great spot for fishing and swimming. Bring a folding chair and relax by the water’s edge, dipping your toes in the refreshing flow. Located just downriver from the renowned ‘Brushy Chutes’, a hotspot for trophy salmon and steelhead fishing, this location is a fisherman’s paradise.

With ample parking available for cars, trucks, and boats, the Robertson’s Bridge boat launch is just a mile away. Explore nearby attractions such as Crater Lake National Park, Oregon Caves, the Britt Festival, and the Ashland Shakespeare Festival, all within an hour’s drive.

The house was supplied with the widest varieties of kitchen appliances & accessories etc than any other VRBO we’ve stayed at. We ate all of our meals this vacation cooked at the home. The Riverhouse

Booked this for the Fourth of July weekend, my wife and I and some friends.Beautiful setting! The house is great, well set up & lots of room.Spent all day at the river. It was just right, not too cold or too hot. Was shallow enough that you could wade out way to chest deep easy. Our dog loved it too! Our hosts were excellent, stayed in contact with us and even let us check in early. Great stay we really enjoyed it!

Dangerous swing

It was a relaxing and comfortable stay for my 91 yr old mother n law. The only 3 minor issues were that the toilet in the en suite master made a whistling noise. The childs swing that my grandkids played on, broke, and was also hanging from a rotten branch and would be very dangerous if it broke. The cover on the barbeque was brittle and stuck to the not very clean grill. Other than that, we would definitely stay there again

Relaxing weekend

This was a beautiful property to stay on for a holiday weekend. We enjoyed the fall colors and fire pit. The river access is pretty steep and was hard for my handicap son to access but we were able to get him to the river with a lot of support. The house was really clean and there are a lot of fun games and puzzles.

Wonderful home and beautiful location

Hands down, one of the best VRBO properties we have ever visited. Spotlessly clean and everything you could possibly need included on the property. Very grateful that pets are allowed. We had a fabulous time and so did our dog. The river was lovely and we enjoyed watching the boats and wildlife. Also found some wonderful parks in the area if you are looking for additional walking areas.

Perfect house on the Rogue

Enjoyed the property and house. Very clean and comfortable. Yard was huge and had wildlife roaming through. Access to the lake was a little sketchy but doable. Internet sucks so don’t plan on watching tv.
