“The hotel is a well preserved slice of history. A landmark in its own right. The restaurant and bar area are recommended. If you’re driving by car take note that there is a long stretch of curb space reserved for buses, not cars and it is blocked off with cones. This makes accessing the hotel difficult and a member of the front desk staff was not pleased that I moved a cone to pull up and unload. During my stay (2 nights) I didn’t see a single bus but was told one had been there. Highly……

“It was too hot”

“Room was very small, shower was tiny bed was small too. Had to pay with cash which was inconvenient. Security good, parking available at an extra €10.00 per night.”

“The location was amazing for site seeing and close to lots of shops/restaurants and pubs. The bar on site had live music and friendly staff. The bus depo is right across the street and we took it daily to visit other little towns. The room we had was quite small but very clean. There is no fridge but that seems the norm in Ireland. The bed was comfortable BUT the pillows were so thin and hard. Overall a very nice stay ”

“Very over priced for what you get Comfortable bed and hot shower, not enough pillows and towels for 4people in a family room, no TV remote or plug for bath ”

“Only negative was that there wasn't an elevator. Staff in the bar/restaurant were very friendly and provided great service. Reception staff helped with baggage due to some of us being a bit incapacitated.”
