"On the whole a lovely clean hotel. There was some dust behind furniture etc when pulling out to get to sockets. Breakfast was lovely and a good variety. At dinner the food was very nice except for the pie unfortunately the pastry was rock hard, but filling was nice. The pool was great for the kids and the room was nice and large with 2 X doubles and a double sofa bed for 4 of us. The 3 fans provided were great and kept us nice and cool in extremely hot weather. The fridge in the room was also very handy for keeping cool. Lounge area is lovely to relax in some air con and have a drink or meet friends. Overall a great stay and I would definitely recommend."

"Clean, comfortable room. Nice cool temperature indoors during the May bank holiday heatwave along with ice buckets in the rooms, and very easy access for Excel. Only gripe is wishing the rooms had normal bathroom doors instead of a heavy sliding-mirror situation, as there is no privacy even in a room designed for sharing for showering or using the toilet. Pool and sauna facilities were a very welcome treat and easily accessed with spare towels and easy to use lockers with your room keycard."

"We booked a classic room & checked in at 3. Our room wasn’t ready for over an hour and a half so we were given 2 complimentary drinks, then we were upgraded to an executive room. Beautiful room and little balcony which was lovely (dockside). Great breakfast too (free of charge for all). Will definitely be returning"

"We went for a relaxing spa. Firstly, the air conditioning wasn’t working in our room, one of the hottest days so far, was told they would check and in the meantime there was a fan in the cupboard. No fan, but a heater!! Phoned reception again to let them know and then said they would come back to me. Went to reception and we changed rooms which was a much better room anyway. We used the pool facilities which were nice enough but unfortunately there were 2 children in particular who screamed constantly and it was so loud in such a small environment. We have no issue with children at all playing etc but the screaming was not fair for other guests who were there to relax. This did spoil it a bit to be honest. In the morning breakfast was lovely and back to the spa. Children playing, no problem. Criticism: only 6 sunbeds!! Went back to our room for a shower before returning home and we had no hot water!"

"When I arrived I was allocated a twin room 2 floors up. As I have mobility issues I use the room. There is no lift at the hotel.The receptionist said that was not a problem and offered me a single room on the ground floor. Thank you Olga for that. The room was a bit small but as there was only me it didn't matter. The bed was comfortable and I had a good night's sleep. The shower was excellent. Breakfast was buffet style with plenty of hot and cold food. Tea coffee and different juices where available. The breakfast was hot and enjoyable. The price was excellent. The next time I am in London I will be staying there again. Excellent location beside the train station and 10 minutes into the centre of London. Special mention to the staff excellent and very courteous. Well done."
