“This is a lovely property. It is very rustic but well maintained. The room was clean and the bed was very comfortable. We sat out at the the lagoon in the late afternoon. We had dinner at the restaurant and it was a great decision.”

“The Heron is a very well maintained vintage building with the creature comforts and customer service to entice me to want to return for a longer visit. There’s ample parking and we were able to plug in our electric car. The lobby area features an appealing lounge with massive fireplace and seating as well as the breakfast dining area. Breakfast was of a good standard with fruit and eggs made to order . The rooms have a mixture of vintage charm and expansive windows along with a nice bathroom……

“What a charming inn on some of the most spectacular private coastline in the Pacific Northwest. We loved our spot, feet up on our own private balcony watching Blue Heron, Bald Eages, etc. and boats going by, wandering down the path to the pebble beach below, picking blackberries... Idyllic. Our innkeeper, Charlene was so accommodating, SO hardworking. She was constantly cleaning, prepping, on the go, and yet took all the time in the world to chat with us about the Inn, local attractions,……

“We very much enjoyed our stay at Baker's Acres. The cottage/barn was well-appointed and clean. The bed was comfortable and the kitchen had everything we needed. My husband enjoyed watching March Madness each evening using our HBO account on the large TV. Everyone was so friendly in Langley. We were able to eat outside with our pug at a coffee house/bookstore and later in the day at a tap house with a Polynesian food truck. Our dog loved the off-leash dog beach by Useless Bay. L. Evans”

“We hadn't been to Whidbey Island in years, and missed it. So we went for the weekend for my sweetie's birthday. We took our bikes and one dog. Della's place was terrific! Much more spacious than you'd expect for a studio; we've lived in smaller apartments! Everything we could ever have thought to expect was there, and more! Every hot drink thing imaginable, snacks, light cooking facilities. Great little outdoor patio and fenced area for the dog. Easy walk to the beach, short bike ride to……

“Beautiful view of bay. Nice to relax with morning coffee and unwind at sun down in the room overlooking the bay. Quiet neighborhood. Had everything we needed and location was close to everything.”

“The room was large. The bathroom very well equipped for safety. Chairs and mattresses were very comfortable. Able to open windows for air. Plenty of towels. The only thing was the kitchen cold water did not work. We just used the cold water from the bathroom.”

“It was within driving distance to a Starbucks, which I needed for breakfast the next morning. I cooked my dinner in-house. The room was spacious and had what I needed. There were some small issues, such as it's by train tracks and it went through during the night with its horn sounding (typical since it was going through town). There were earplugs available in the room, but I've learned to always travel with a pair. There was also 2 annoying sounds that I had to identify: One were the flaps……
