The location of the property is excellent and the apartment is nice. However it needs some attention to get everything working. Several lights were out in the main room and bathroom. Heater in main room was not working. No heat in bathroom. Of the 4 dining chairs 3 were broken. Apartment was surface clean only and really needs a deep clean especially in kitchen and bathroom. The key delivery system also needs to be explained at the time of booking so you are aware of having to go somewhere else across town (with all your luggage) to get the key.

The property suited our needs whilst we were there however, I assumed the unit was air conditioned and was informed on checking in, that I needed to request it at time of booking. So for next time , if going in summer, we need to specifically request AC. Other units on the floor had AC.

Great apartment but filthy dirty

Firstly the booking was actually changed by them from these apartments on Elizabeth to their twin ones on Exhibition so this review is about that block but involves both. We received a text on arrival with the address - the bus driver pointed out that it was 3 blocks away from the original address we had supplied - we had not even been advised that we were being moved. Apparently the shower was broken in the one at Elizabeth. I asked to stay in the original as we needed that area due to a physical injury and that location but it was said nothing could be done. Upon arrival it was found the shower was broken in this one too!!!! It took 2 days and 2 tradespeople to fix this - plus a leaking toilet that was also found. The worst part though was the apartment was FILTHY! My elderly mother had to go & buy a packet of cleaning wipes and dust the entire apartment which was really dirty plus use their vacuum to also clean the dirty carpet. Also there was a cockroach infestation so they were all throughout the apartment. Apart from those major issues...... the apartment was great - very spacious, 2 great bedrooms with separate bathrooms, large living & dining area with kitchen, reasonable views with pretty distant views of church spires, located right near theatres & Chinatown,and a nice pool. Sadly the experience was completely overtaken by changing apartments (with no warning) and the utter filth the place was in. Really not good enough for this amount of money.
