Positive: Great view, location. (PLEASE NOTE: I do not normally complain but this needs to be said!)
Negative: Poor management, managed by Asian students who are not really that customer focused and who do not speak English that well. Apartment was tiny (even thought they told us they had upgraded us to a more spacious apartment). It was advertised as catering for 6 people, I would recommend no more than 4. One small dining table with 4 chairs, one couch in the living room, tiny master bedroom, cutlery was dirty, bed linen had rip in it, insufficient cups etc. for amount of people in the apartment, cups still had coffee stains, floor of balcony was dirty, no chairs on balcony, windows had not been cleaned, no detergent for dishwasher, food left in cupboard by previous guests. Overall, I think the whole management, cleaning of the unit, customer focus etc. needs a major overhaul!! We did complain to management, and all they did was came with 3 new clean cups, and a bottle of sparkling. Sorry, but that did not cut it for us. It was my 50th birthday celebration with my family, and this did put a dampener on things. We had been promised an earlier check in, that did not happen. They were unable to cater for storage of our luggage when we arrived in Melbourne, we had to hire lockers at the train station. Our family has travelled extensively internationally, and this was truly a disappointing, unprofessional experience for us. Rant over. (Apartment 2408)
