A Memphis star
This is the one of the most beautiful properties I’ve ever had the pleasure of staying in. Decorated beautifully, in a beautiful neighborhood, close enough to all attractions, but I world away when it comes to accommodations. It was like staying in a modern version of Graceland. My family and I loved it.

Excellent house!
This was the beginning of a 2 week family holiday that started in Memphis and boy what a start it was! The house is amazing - everything about it was as described (I’d actually say that the pictures don’t do it justice, it’s even better in real life!) Loads of space, great location, brilliant information from Elizabeth - seriously we couldn’t have asked for more! We are a family of 4 with a 16 year old and 12 year old and even they were impressed which, anyone with teenagers will know, happens rarely!! We’d hired a car so didn’t need to Uber or anything but I’m sure it would have been fine. We spent time in Memphis and went to Graceland and all was an easy drive from the house. If you are looking for a beautiful house in Memphis then book this one - you won’t be sorry!

Perfect Memphis Home
We stayed in the Magnolia House while in Memphis for our daughter’s college graduation. We wanted a place to visit with family instead of several hotel rooms. This house is gorgeous, with incredible attention to detail & great design while keeping in touch with the architectural style of a mid-century home. We enjoyed taking in time in each of the rooms, but especially the music/camera room! The neighborhood is pristine with a great park literally next door. The backyard is very serene & the magnolia trees in the front & back are quintessential southern home. The owners were super accommodating to our request and were very responsive to our messages. The only thing I’d say about the listing is the home is even more beautiful than the listing- the pictures just don’t do it justice. Thanks! Highly recommend.

Wonderful stay!
My family and I absolutely loved our stay at Magnolia House. The house is charming, cozy and comfortable. We found it difficult to leave to explore the exciting city of Memphis but the location is perfect across from park and zoo. There are also great restaurants close by. We would love to stay again some day! Thank you!

Birthday Celebration in Memphis
We took my mother and dad to Memphis for my mothers 80th birthday. Our son and his girlfriend also came with us for their college fall break. We decided to stay in a house instead of having to get 2 or more hotel rooms and found this VRBO property online. The house and neighborhood were very nice and closely located to all of the things we planned to do. We would highly recommend staying at the Magnolia House if you’re planning a trip to Memphis.

Lovely location!
Our friend group stayed here the last weekend in October. The trees were beautiful. The house was immaculate and the perfect location for spending time together and seeing the sights in Memphis. The owners were quick to respond and even left us a delicious lemon cake to enjoy throughout the weekend! Will definitely stay here again!

Wow! Southern Charm At It’s Finest!
Elizabeth was the most amazing hostess. From the moment we interacted with Elizabeth she was warm, friendly, and charming. The second we walked in the door we were thrilled! The home is beautifully decorated. Each bedroom was equally adorned and comfortable. The outdoor area is fenced in and feels very private. Perfect place to have a glass of wine and enjoy the fire pit. Elizabeth even left fresh baked pastries that were delicious. Overall our experience was outstanding! This is hands down one of our favorite VRBO getaways.

Lovely Stay at The Magnolia House!
This is a return visit for our family and everything was again wonderful. The location near Overton Park is serene but convenient to the Zoo and other Park facilities like free live music at the Levitt Shell. The decor and attention to detail in this home is simply lovely and captures the spirit of the city, casual yet elegant. All the perks are so appreciated, the beds are super comfy and the house so well appointed for family stays. We hope to return again soon. Truly, there is nothing to improved upon in this vacation home! Great backyard, great den full of games, stocked kitchen and great space for family entertaining. Our family absolutely loved our stay.

Hard to know where to start! Gorgeous home, and the hosts made us feel like invited guests with a home baked cake. So comfortable, my son read aloud every Dad Joke in the box in the TV room, lovely back yard. Ten minutes or less to just about everywhere and Overton Park right there for zoo and free concerts. We are planning to come back for sure!

We booked this home last minute. From the time we booked until the time we left was over the top! Owners are attentive and wonderful people. The house is over the top down to every detail! We loved everything about the house! It is beautiful and relaxing and has everything you need. It is right next to the Memphis Zoo and Overton Park so it is super convenient. Amazing location and interior
This house has a great location across the street from Overton Park Zoo with easy access to many Memphis neighborhoods and attractions. We were welcomed with a delicious cinnamon cake (yum) and found electric bikes/scooters for rent in the park to enable us to quickly tour the park and nearby Rhodes College with our teenagers. The home felt very safe with a gated parking area, fenced yard and outdoor lighting. Our teenagers enjoyed the tv room/lounge where they spread out and streamed March Madness games. And we especially liked the property owners letter with restaurant recommendations and many books around the house about Overton Park and Memphis. Honestly this was probably the nicest vrbo we have stayed in - new bedding, clean, spacious and professionally decorated with no details overlooked. The only con I observed was a barking dog next door - which is not a reflection on the property owner/manager - and only effected us when we were coming and going from our car. We would definitely return to this charming home.

Great Memphis experience
Our three couple group came from north, east and west to enjoy a wonderful long weekend in Memphis. This home was the perfect base as it is next to a beautiful park, has easy access to downtown and a wonderful layout for hanging out and talking. The house is well furnished and the kitchen well stocked. Everything was clean and the beds very comfortable. No better place to stay in Memphis. Thank you Elizabeth.

Beautiful Memphis Experience
Elizabeth has created an amazing VRBO experience that should not be missed. The house is very well decorated and from the moment you walk in you feel at home. We arrived to lights on, music playing, and a delicious cake! I would say our stay was perfect!
