Absolutely beautiful property with lovely, thoughtful hosts. I stuffed up the booking and they were more than accommodating and non judgemental. The housemade bread was the icing on an already amazing cake. Highly recommend.

Clean, comfy, wonderful stay

Very relaxing atmosphere. Stayed in summer, off grid, very comfortable temps... would love to stsy in winter and try out the woodburner. Lovely hosts, home made artisan bread, all around safe and wonderful place between mount gambier and adelaide.

A very quiet and peaceful stay. Unfortunately, the weather was rather bad which affected my reason for visiting the region, ( photography and painting). (Please note: the strong wind caused persistent rattling of the flue to the wood heather.)

Off Grid Weekend achieved!

A beautiful location along the Coorong. The accommodation was clean, cosy, warm & practical. The surrounding native garden is well kept & welcoming for all the local birds. A very relaxing & tranquil off grid weekend away.

What a gem!

Stayed for one night on our way to Adelaide. Everything was 10/10 - greeted by the hosts who were lovely. Showed us round and left us to it, but close enough to be on hand if you need anything. All the furnishings, appliances, bedding etc is 5 star. The beds are extremely comfortable with beautiful linen. The gardens and surrounds are such a pleasure. Was so nice to wake up to in the morning. Add in that it’s very dog friendly - dogs can go inside provided you leave it as you found it, which is easy to do with the handy vac. And it’s all off the grid, powered by solar & batteries so you get to be eco friendly. Oh and we arrived to freshly baked rye bread with home made preserves and cream. So yum it was ridiculous! We also added in eggs & bacon on toast for brekky. Well worth it. We’ll definitely be back - thanks for having us.

I stayed just one night, travelling with my dog after a long and hot journey. What a lovely and much-needed break this was. Beautiful little cottage with everything you need, and some. And the perfect, safe garden for my dog to roam. I would highly recommend this if you want to wind down.

Great little place for a get away

Overall we loved this little suite, it was modern & cosy! We were given freshly baked bread, was such a lovely gesture. Everything was very well explained on checking in & you can tell the owners take great pride in this home away from home. The only thing I would add is the WiFi is limited & we had no phone reception so if you are travelling with children who have electronics etc keep that in mind. We would absolutely stay their again we had a wonderful time watching the view, sitting in the garden & playing scrabble.

Gabriele and Neil made us feel very welcome, there was even a freshly baked loaf of home made bread waiting for us, still warm! Such a beautiful peaceful location and the wood fire was a highlight. Highly recommend!

Coorong cozy getaway

Lovely stay away from it all, smack bang in the Coorong. Great accommodation for couple with 2 small dogs. Great place to leave it all behind and just relax and stay in front of a fire stove.
