“My son and i came to Chattanooga to explore the area and do some climbing. The house we stayed in was so nice and very clean and quiet, perfect for 2 adults needing segregate rooms and close to lots of things.”

The hosts were helpful when called upon, but otherwise I felt like I was alone on the property. This was my third time at this property, and I will be returning.”

The grounds are welcoming, with plenty of places to sit and chat with your group, or new friends! Parking is right there. The rooms are always clean, and well stocked with coffee and snacks. “Booking was easy. When we arrived there was not a key in the lock box as instructed so I immediately called Jen. Owners live on site so it was easy to remedy the situation- she actually moved us to another unit. It was perfect for what we needed. They’d gone above and beyond to make the units homey- including Christmas decorations- We will definitely stay there again.”

“Everyone was so tired from our long winding road drive up from Florida. We walked in to find the best break from your normal hotel stay.. this place had every little unique castle like feel you could ask for we had such fun the minute we walked in there was something special to see in every little nook. The owner had my daughters favorite movie playing when we walked in! We had popcorn and a game of chess the scavager hunt and a great nights sleep on very comfortable beds. The owner was always……

“We rented this property for a weekend getaway. We really enjoyed the cabin while we were actually there. I say that because there is so much to do within 10 miles of the cabin that we were only there to watch the sunset and sleep. Fortunatley, we did not have any neighbors at the time we were there and the quiet there is astounding. “The Bear House is a delightful place to stay. We had the full upstairs and it was like two small apartments that were joined together. Yes it is a little eclectic, but so many personal touches and each room is decorated individually. Everyone loved it. Plenty of little sitting areas and very quiet and sound proof. Lots of little extras and niceties, with candy dishes and Keurig coffee makers. One note, not a negative, but more of a heads up, you do access the space via a small set of stairs. No……

“Staying in an updated historic loft that is beautifully decorated, made us feel so comfortable. There is a park across the street and the loft is near the base of Lookout Mountain. There is so much to see and do within a few minutes walk or short drive. The scenery was beautiful and so was the architecture in the neighborhood. Local people were helpful. We will be back because there is more to explore.”

“Cindy went above and beyond to help us enjoy our stay. The house was beautifully decorated and immaculate. There was a charming claw foot bathtub and a pedestal sink depicting a Victorian or French styled bathroom. The queen sized bed was so comfortable and decorated with beautiful bed coverings and pillows. There was a tv in the bedroom and the living room. It was very quiet and we enjoyed the porch that had two rocking chairs. We loved the location and most of all our lovely hostess.”

The cozy atmosphere and thoughtful amenities added to the overall comfort.
