We booked this property because it is on the same lake as our family cabin and we needed extra space for a large family gathering. The house was lovely and not only met our needs, but also provided periodic respite from the large family chaos that was happening across the lake. Derek was very easy to work with through an itinerary change before our stay, and other small needs during the stay. The home had everything we needed for a two-week stay. Check-out instructions were clear and simple. The listing shows the property can sleep 12, but we didn't think we could fit that many. We had 8 at the peak usage and were able to get by with the existing beds & couches. Any more and I think we would have needed a blow-up mattress. Check with the host first if you have that many people to confirm how the configuration would work.Overall we really enjoyed the tranquility and comfort of the home and were grateful to stay there.
