“This place surpassed our expectations! The home was extremely clean and comfortable. The property was amazing. Sitting on the porch and hearing the water moving in the creek was so very relaxing. The owners were so helpful and we really enjoyed visiting with them when they stopped by to milk their cow. The weather wasn’t ideal but it did not interfere with the experience. Would definitely like to book again.”

“The house was conveniently located close to the College and grocery shopping. Very clean and well kept. Neighborhood is quiet. Communication is fantastic with the owner. Will definitely stay again if ever in that area.”

“The house was just as described. This was the second time we stayed in one of their homes. The only issue I have, and this prevented me from 5 stars, was we arrived a little after the check in time, and the owners (I am assuming), were there outside and before check out time, they drove by (this was a dead end street). This made us a bit nervous and irritated.”

“This house was amazing! Super cute inside and out. Kids loved the loft and puzzles/card games. Adults loved the views and spacious living areas. Beds were very comfy and Roku TVs were a hit. We only stayed two nights due to a robotics competition at Missouri S&T (very easy and quick drive) but wished we could have stayed longer. Hosts were quick to respond and communication was easy. Would definitely recommend!”

“My wife and I stayed over the Labor Day weekend. Everything was wonderful. Room was clean and cozy. Bed was super comfortable (memory foam mattress). We enjoyed the nice new deck with all the new patio furniture. Great for late night drinks under the stars and coffee in the morning. Kelly was super nice and accommodating. Be careful with using Waze directions it won't get you there. Also, cell service is iffy at best once you leave Cuba. Starlink WiFi was available for our stay which was a huge……

“We appreciated the cleanliness and the amenities of Tessa's Mona Lisa House. For showering, the water pressure was great and the water hot--better than at some of the Rolla hotels! The bungalow is in a convenient location, close to S&T and to Price Chopper--only 5 minutes away. The check-in process is extremely easy, and there were no keys to have to worry about (but one IS available if you prefer that over the keypad entry). “The wife and I have made three trips to the area and have stayed at Gill Ridge. Twice at Koi Pond and once at Ellens cabin. The properties are always clean and stocked with plenty of towels, bedding and kitchen cookware. Lots of firewood for the fire pit and grills for outside cooking. Nothing beats laying in your hot tub aftef dark under the stars! Plenty of places to eat in the area and things to do for all ages. We will be back again for our next weekend get away.”
