“We were surprised at the listing stating that it slept up to six people. For four men the room in the lower level that held two single beds was not enough room for our two guys. We were happy for the couch against the wall on the upper level where one of our guys slept all week”

“We were planning on cross country skiing but Mother Nature had other ideas. Lots of hiking near by, 6 min from town, was just the right size for the 4 of us! We enjoyed our stay and would rent again. To the owners may want to add more dish towels or a drainer for under drying rack and a new toaster as you have to unplug it to get the toast to come up.”

“Our dogs loved the yard and home comfort of the cabin. Very close to quite a few waterfalls, the harbor and the Copper Peak ski jump. Awesome to bike from to all those spots or hike. Highly recommend if you have dogs. Sad we didn't get to try the pub next door, but we will next time!”

“We have stayed several times in the UP and this was our favorite property. The neighborhood is nice and quiet and we saw several deer walking around and an old sweet black lab that walks around the block. Host is always available and you can communicate with him at any time. The internet is very good for any remote workers or gamers, you will be just fine. “Check in progress was rough, there were two lock boxes on property (when I was only lef to believe there's one) and the lock box that was a actually connected to the cabin rented was not the lock box for the code given. The code given was for the lock box connected to the shed across from the main entrance to the cabin. This led to frustration while arriving, as I thought I was locked out of the cabin after a four hour drive north. The property manager got back to me about 3-4 hours after I……

“We had such a wonderful couple days of peaceful serenity while staying at the Hannu Haus. There were do many special touches to the decor that added to the warmth & coziness of the log cabin. It had plenty of space to entertain and well thought out ideas for keeping children occupied. The coffee bar was exceptionally awesome and we all enjoyed the great coffee beverages that the Jura made!! I would give the Hannu -Hause 10 stars!! We hope to come back again!!”
