Cottage Down the Lane Rural Setting

Located in the Main Street of a small Rural Town halfway between Ballarat and Geelong. The house is set over 100 meters back from the main Rd overlooking the Meredith creek valley and has a peaceful, quiet rural outlook and ambience. An Eatery, a Golf Course, Pub, Servo, General Store and walking track are all just meters from the property.

Lovely retreat while our home was on the market.

Our little cottage at Meredith was so restful and peaceful after stressful days getting our house on the market for sale. The drive from Geelong was delightful and we felt so calm by the time we got ‘home’. The cottage was perfectly clean and had everything needed for a longer term stay. The extra large carport was a total bonus as was the gorgeous undercover outdoor area overlooking the paddocks and the creek. The sheep, horse, chickens, etc were gorgeous and the bird life was fantastic! Beautiful open skies… we even saw a wedge tailed eagle! All this, not to mention the fantastic corner store with great cakes, pies and pasties, fish n chips and lattes. We highly recommend the cottage down the lane!

our contact with the hosts was excellent. It was a perfect location, quiet, isolated and the farm animals on either side of the property made for a lovely country experience. Would have liked to stay longer.
