Our very enjoyable stay at Le Ventoux

This is my first rental with AIR, if they have a property that suits us next year I will happily book with them again. Emma was incredibly helpful with all the many requests from finding chefs to booking airport transfers The house is conveniently located to Merindol and other towns which have excellent restaurants. The house itself is incredibly well equipped with all top grade gadgets and appliances All bedrooms are of a good size each with its own bathroom and large beds Outside there are lots of different sitting ares with plenty of chairs and loungers, the pool is heated to a very comfortable temperature. Any one who books Le Ventoux will not be disappointed

Great holiday at Le Ventoux

The house is probably one of the best equipped rentals we have stayed in over the last 20 years, as listed every bedroom had a bathroom which were very well appointed, all beds were King or Queen, large Kitchen with up to date appliances Heated swimming pool well maintained and kept incredibly warm Lots of outside seating areas with plenty of chairs and loungers Well located very close to Merindol and Mallemort where there are some good Restaurants Emma the agent is excellent, answered all queries very promptly, found a really good local chef to cook for us, also organised transfers from the Airport, met us at the house when we arrived, called in a couple of times to make sure we were ok with everything, could not have asked for anything more Like all houses in this area there are a few steps to negotiate, however we were a party of eight the youngest being 75, generally we did not have a problem You will not be dissapointed if you decided to spend time at Le Ventoux

Magical and perfect

The pictures were exactly what we found in this unbelievable property. Emma was the perfect host and Camille was the perfect chef. The only issue we had was a very malodorous bathroom but a candle took care of it.

Superbe séjour en famille

Maison très bien adaptée à plusieurs couples / familles avec une sdd/sdb par chambre (bien qu'elles soient très petites) et tables/chaises/vaisselle/serviettes de toilette et de piscine en quantité suffisante. Très bien installés à l'intérieur comme à l'extérieur. Très beau cadre avec possibilité de faire des randonnées, offrant une superbe vue sur les villages avoisinants. Commerces proches : boulangerie et boucherie à Mérindol même, supermarché à Mallemort à 10 min. Nous avons passé 8 jours superbes à 12 personnes, dont 3 enfants et 1 bébé. Points d'amélioration, sans que cela ait gâché notre séjour : - les pins salissent très vite la piscine. Malgré le passage de l'épuisette plusieurs fois par jours par nos soins, 1 ou 2 passages supplémentaires du pisciniste seraient les bienvenus, notamment pour le fond ou vider les skimmer bouchés par les épines des pins. - l'éclairage de la partie salle à manger à l'intérieur n'est pas suffisant le soir pour manger ou jouer à des jeux de société - le bouton de la plancha ne fonctionnait pas (nous l'allumions manuellement avec un briquet) - le frigo n'était pas assez froid pour conserver correctement les aliments (impossible de le régler) - le vide sanitaire apporte des relents d'odeurs dans la cuisine et devant les 2 chambres extérieures

Family reunion in a fantastic location

Wonderful house overlooking the Durance valley. The property is fantastic, well equipped with numerous bedrooms, each with their own bathroom. A lot of outdoor activities: swimming pool, pétanque, ping pong. You almost feel like staying there and not visiting all the touristic sites close to the property. Emma was great and very responsive.
