"Friendly and helpful staff, sea view, cleanliness"

"The Mariner's is and always will be my first choice when visiting Haverfordwest (my home town). The rooms are comfortably spacious, spotlessly clean with a generous bathroom. The staff always welcoming, friendly and very helpful. Something i have not mentioned in previous reviews, excellent tv reception and very good & stable wi fi. I mention it because i have used Premier Inns in the past and (in 3 different locations) and both services are pretty woeful."

"The room was brilliant. Everything we needed was there. The staff member on reception was extremely helpful from the start and whenever we needed anything from the bar it was never too much trouble for her to leave what she was doing to serve us. The young lady on reception told us that we would not be disappointed with the breakfast the following morning and we were definitely not disappointed. This was a leisure break but I have to travel with work regularly and so have experienced many hotels and so have to say that the staff at breakfast were again extremely helpful and polite. The range of food laid on for breakfast was amazing. We did try the cooked breakfast and this was cooked to order and tasted absolutely fantastic. This B&B has plenty of character in every room and we felt comfortable sitting in the lounge area in the evening with a drink to relax. Plenty of board games left around for guests to use should they want. A highly recommended B&B."

"The property was beautifully kept inside and out. The room we stayed in had beautiful furniture and the view was of the beach and fort and Cauldy Island and with the sun shining it was amazing. You could walk to the beach and around town within a short distance. There’s steep steps to the beach or further up, a zig-zag path. The breakfast was tasty with plenty of variety too. The owner really wants to make sure that you enjoy your holiday. We definitely will return. Parking at the Pay and Display cost £10 per 24 hours for the one at the other end of the street from the B&B."
