“This hotel is located at the town center and is very convenient for everything. The staffs are very friendly. I appreciate the receptionist introducing me the idea of biking in the Wachau valley. I rented a bike from the hotel for 20e/day and had a good time riding to Splitz and return (for about 5 hours). The hotel also provided me a helmet for free. I want to thank the hotel and to recommend visitors to consider this activity. ”

“An excellent family-run hotel on the banks of the Dnube. Very good breakfast. Nice restaurant. We upgraded to a large room with a balcony and a full view of the Danube for only 15€ per night.”

“Charming and unique stay. We only stayed one night but we really enjoyed it. There’s not much happening in the town and the day we arrived the restaurant was closed. Breakfast was great with fresh breads and meats and cheese. Excellent coffee. We would definitely stay here again and recommend it. ”

“Hotel ohne Restaurant liegt in einer ruhigen Gegend. Parkplätze im Freien vorhanden. Restaurant Babenbergerhof ist gleich nebenan und gehört auch dazu. Frühstück war auch sehr gut.”

Die Chefin ist die gute Seele des Hauses, die sich um alles kümmert - in unserem Fall um das Einfrieren unserer Kühlakkus für Medikamente. Sehr herzlich und freundlich war der Kontakt zu allen Mitarbeitern, denen wir begegnet sind. Das Restaurant ist absolute Spitzenklasse. Preis-Leistung stimmt, tolle Weinkarte, tolle Desserts, tolle Hauptgerichte. Das Zimmer war sehr geräumig, Bad und……

“If you want a nice, peaceful, away from everything kind of place, then this is your stop. Up on top of the mountains, you have a fantastic view all around you. It is very quiet and you can sleep peacefully. The rooms are quite basic, no fridge, soap stuffs, but it is still a great lodge. The owners are very nice and amazing folks who will do what they can to make your stay pleasant. This was definitely a relaxing stay for me.”

“Für Familien mit Kleinkinder aus der Stadt vielleicht okay, aber für den Rest eher nicht. Bevor man eincheckt muss man Schuhe ausziehen, und beim Frühstück sind für die Inhaber ein Tisch gesperrt. Nicht dass es an Platz mangel, sondern da wird das Hausrecht gezeigt. ”

“Poco curata la pulizia (ragnatele, polvere,..). La scala per salire nelle camere è ripida (non adatta ad anziani) e senza luce. Il posto ai margini del bosco è carino”
