「My wife and I totally enjoyed our stay at Casa Sophia. It's a setting where time slows remarkably and you feel a guilt-free pleasure in having an equally slow pace to your days.I first discovered Casa Sophia back in 2017 while searching the internet for places to stay in Europe. We elected to go to Italy that time but I kept an eye on Casa Sophia. As the years went by I continued to check the VRBO site for the listing, hoping to take advantage of it sometime. 「Die Wohnung war sehr schön, gemütlich, sauber, gut ausgestattet. Die Lage ist genau wie beschrieben und die Abwicklung war sehr freundlich und unkompliziert. Würden wir jederzeit wieder besuchen. Danke für die schöne Zeit.」

「We stayed at The Goatshed during the off season. Lots of rain ( even a "named" storm ) during our stay, and still it was absolutely magical. Everything we hoped it would be ! The villages in the area had lovely tavernas and incredible bakeries as well as grocery stores well stocked with everything you need. I spent a morning sipping coffee and listening to a Greek Orthodox memorial service being chanted nearby, another morning we watched the neighbors harvesting olive trees. The Goatshed itself...

「Plus: Wonderful terraces overlooking Kalamata. Negative: This is a stone house and can be quite cold. We successfully heated the living room area, but could not heat the lower bedroom. Also the house is a long way up a winding road and somewhat out of town.」
