Family vacation

Tha villa was just perfect!!! We had a wonderful stay. We were 10 people, including two young children who absulotly loved the kids swimming pool. The house is very clean and kept very well. It is fully equipped. Vassilas thought of everything one needs!! Lots of towels, fully equipped kitchen, games and more. We definitely recommend this villa for a great family vacation.

Large and private beautiful space

I was not well at the time so my view may be a bit muted. Also, the weather was mixed....as it has been over Europe in this hottest summer ever. The pool and area was lovely with seating in shade available wherever the sun was during the day. The rooms were clean and neat with nothing more we could have wanted. It was an interesting/strange set up with the downstairs and upstairs being fully separated. This was not a problem for us, but we were surprised by it. The air conditioning worked efficiently and quietly. The road in front was quite noisy, but I think a by-pass looks likely to be open soon which should help this. Petalidi itself is easy to access and is a lovely little place. You can walk straight down to the sea from the property...not necessarily to swim, but beautiful views. Wonderful property

The property was big enough for family and friends to share together. The separate kitchens really help. Plenty of room to spread out. The pool is wonderful and refreshing. We recommend Peroulia Beach for a serviced and sandy beach. Very family friendly. This was one of the hosts recommendations. Vasilis was a great host who helped us get shrimp in Petalidi and also answered all our questions. He brought us a wonderful welcoming meals which was needed after a long day travel. This place is great, I highly recommend it.

Amazing stay!!

From the moment we arrived we felt at home and comfortable. Vasilis was there on arrival to greet and show us around, returning a little later on with a beautiful welcome dinner. The villa itself was amazing and perfectly laid out for our family, the pool kitchen was an additional bonus! The small swimming pool was fantastic for the babies. We also felt incredibly safe as the doors had a keypad code entry, which we thought was a fantastic idea! It was a lovely location and short distance to the local village, which had majority of our needs met. We also visited Vasilis’s cousin restaurant (around 15minute drive) food was exceptional! 100% recommend visiting. We had an amazing and relaxing stay and would 100% recommend for either a family or group of friends.

Sehr schöne Unterkunft - wir kommen wieder

Unkomplizierter und freundlicher Checkin/Checkout, ideal für 2 Familien - jeder hat eine eigene Wohnung, zusätzlich gibts eine gemeinsame Küche und einen sehr gepflegten Aussenbereich. Alles hat reibungslos geklappt. Wir kommen auf jeden Fall wieder!

Wundervoller Urlaub auf dem Peleponnes

Wir hatten einen wunderschönen Urlaub in Petalidi bei einem hervorragenden Gastgeber! Schon vor Beginn der Reise hatte Vasilis uns mit Tipps zu den besten Stränden und Ausflugszielen in der Umgebung versorgt, zudem Einkaufsmöglichkeiten und Tavernen empfohlen. Als wir ankamen, hat Vasilis uns herzlich empfangen, sogar der Kühlschrank war gefüllt! Die Kommunikation während unseres Aufenthalts war schnell und unkompliziert, Vasilis was immer da, wenn man ihn brauchte. Das Haus, der Garten, der Pool… alles war gepflegt, sauber und ordentlich und noch schöner als auf den Bildern. Lieber Vasilis, vielen Dank für alles! Grüße deine wundervolle Familie! Family fun in Greece

The house has the perfect amount of community space and separation for large groups. We had 3 families plus our Yiayia and were very comfortable. The host was very helpful and prompt in communication. The attractions were easily accessible. We loved it!

Herbstaufenthalt 2021

Wir wurden herzlich bei unserem Eintreffen empfangen. Der Kühlschrank war durch den Vermieter gefüllt und ein warmes Abendessen bereit. So war der Start sehr angenehm. Das Haus und die Pools sind super und der Vermieter hilft schnell bei jedem Problem. Über eine Strasse geht es direkt zum Strand (ca 3. Minuten, Steinstrand). Normalerweise eine ruhige Strasse, leider war bei unserem Aufenthalt die normale Route wegen Bauarbeiten ins Hinterland nach Koroni gesperrt, so dass aller Verkehr durch diese Strasse gehen musste, das war etwas schade ist aber natürlich nur temporär) Trotzdem war es ein sehr schöner erholsamer Aufenthalt. Die Leute sind wirklich alle sehr freundlich und das Dörfchen Petalidi ist klein aber fein. Wir können es sehr gerne weiterempfehlen.

A fabulous holiday at an excellent residence and location

A magnificent house, fully equipped, spotless, exactly as described on vrbo's website. The host was always available, the fridge was full when we arrived and he offered us our first lunch with two traditional and delicious greek plates, moussaka and gemista (stuffed tomatoes and green peppers). He offered us tips for dinner, beaches, excursions in full detail. The location is quiet, the pools are a great asset and the pool area has everything that a holidaymaker needs. The beach is only 50 meters away. Other beaches are located very close to the house (walking distance and some are less than a 10-minute drive). A perfect residence for two families or a party of 10-12 people. Thanks for the hospitality! We will certainly return!

Parfait!

Amazing stay

All amenities to make our stay more than comfortable, both for adults as well as for children&toddlers, were provided. I can’t think of anything this beautiful villa was lacking. Fully equipped kitchens on both levels of the villa, as well as a 3rd one by the pool & bbq, which was extremely handy, along with the W.C. and shower by the pool. Amenities, linen and surrounding spaces were spotless, of good quality and well maintained. On the first day, we were greeted by the owner, Vassilis, offering us a delicious welcoming dinner. He was exceptionally welcoming, professional & discrete and made sure all our needs were met. Beautiful beaches and tons of historic places to visit in the area. We hope we will be able to come back again! Highly recommended!

Amazing accommodation! A must to try!

Dear Vasilis, we would like to thank you for the amazing accommodation and services provided during our stay in your villa. The house is magnificent, extremely clear, in a very convenient location, while the BBQ area and the swimming pools are fantastic for relaxation and beautiful moments. Fab villa in Petalidi

This is a wonderful villa which is well looked after, well managed and has everything one needs. Also great views. Wish we could have stayed longer than a week. Vasilis was very helpful.

Ferienhaus zum wohlfühlen und relaxen

Das Haus ist wunderschön, genau wie auf den Fotos. Die Ausstattung lässt keine Wünsche offen. Bettwäsche und Handtücher, auch für den Pool, sind reichlich vorhanden. Jedes Schlafzimmer (4) hat ein eigenes Bad. Ein extra Bad mit Dusche und WC für den Pool Bereich. Ebenso eine extra Poolküche. Der Hauseigene Gemüsegarten darf für den eigenen Verzehr geplündert werden. Anfahrt von Kalamata in 30 Min. mit dem Auto. Von Athen in 3 Std. erreichbar. Vasillis, der Vermieter ist ausgesprochen nett, hilfsbereit und ist 24 Std. erreichbar. Da meine Tochter in Ammothines Beach, nähe Pylos, am Strand geheiratet hat, wurden wir von Vasillis über die lokalen Pressenachrichten informiert. Mit dieser hatten wir alle nicht gerechnet, auch das Brautpaar nicht. Wir wurden sehr herzlich empfangen und mit einem exzellenten Abendessen, am Ankunftstag, überrascht. Sein Cousin, der nicht weit entfernt ein Lokal besitzt, hat dieses Essen vorbereitet. Da muss man unbedingt zum Essen hingehen. Überaus freundlich und sehr lecker, wenn man Griechische Hausmanskost schätzt. Für das Frühstück am nächsten Tag war der Kühlschrank gefüllt. Der Kiesstrand ist ca. 50 m entfernt. 3 Min. zu Fuß erreichbar. Das Wasser wunderschön und glasklar. Wir alle (9) möchten uns herzlichst für die Gastfreundschaft bedanken und können es nur wärmstens weiterempfehlen. Liebe Grüße von den Hochzeits Urlaubern.

Absolutely wonderful!

Everything was fabulous! Everything in the house was perfect and the outside area was beautiful and accommodating. Very relaxing. I wish we could have stayed longer. We were a family of five and the spaciousness of the house and all the amenities provided were perfect. Vasilis and his brothers were perfect hosts and served us a wonderful welcome dinner . Yum. Beautiful villa with breathtaking views

Wow what an amazing find! Vasilis provided first class customer service throughout the whole process from our first enquiry to meeting us on departure and sorting numerous taxis for us. Very responsive and helpful tips before our stay. The villa is spotlessly clean, it's split into two separate apartments which is great for large family groups or friends. The grounds are well manicured and spacious. We loved the pool area and outdoor barbecue. Vasilis provided an authentic Greek meal on our arrival and a stocked fridge which is a first for us and was truly appreciated. The local village is a 10 minute walk, there are a small number of taxis locally to get you around if you don't want to hire a car. Very reasonable to eat out locally. Thank you Vasilis for being a top class host, you are ausome!!

Fabulous Villa

Six of us (all adults) stayed for a fortnight in this beautiful villa. Vassillis was marvellous and helped us all so much, especially when one of our party needed medical treatment. The food that was left for our first night was AMAZING. Beer and wine in the fridge and all the essentials needed to start a great holiday. Also the lunch we had at the family taverna was also great, one of the best meals we had the whole holiday. The villa itself is great, we used the garden kitchen most of the time (a hob there would be really useful). The tomatoes and peppers from the garden were beautiful. We would definitely return and would recommend it 100%.

Extremely friendly and helpful host. Best equipped holiday home EVER.

The tone of the holiday was set by Vasilis' extremely prompt and friendly responses to my queries before we even arrived - sent some brilliant recommendations ahead of our trip. Vasilis was just as friendly in person and went totally out of his way to make our holiday special - he even drove all the way to the airport when I left my passport. THANK YOU SO MUCH! The house was just as in the photo but, more than that, was so well equipped. We wanted for nothing - had a packed fridge on arrival (including beer!) and we didn't even need to use the toiletries we had brought as those were provided. Our daughters were so excited about the games and inflatables that had been made available. It really did make the holiday so relaxing and special. The little town had all we needed; friendly people and a nice, local feeling without being too touristy. The Namaste bar had a nice vibe and GREAT music when they had a DJ. The food and view at O Vrachos were fantastic - highly recommend. Thanks again Vasilis, love the Wilsons!

Relaxing holidays

The owner contact person is extremely nice and always took great care of us. He was always open for any questions, providing help and great recommendations. The house is perfectly equipped with everything so that we could relax and enjoy. Great place to explore Messinia, which is very rich in culture, nature activities (hiking, cycling, swimming, boating), beautiful villages, and most of all extremely friendly people! We can fully recommend it.
